This was my first time here and it was pretty awesome. I ordered the Italian sausage pizza which was cooked just right. I also ordered the fried ravioli and it was amazing with a kick of spice. I didn’t know it was stuffed with cheese and hot peppers lol but I gobbled it up anyway and washed it down with their awesome lemonade with that cute little cherry in it. I will be going back sooner than later

My fiancé and I were visiting from IL and wanted pizza but didn’t want to get it from the chains. We heard a lot of good things about it too. My first complaint is I called to order carry out and the person on the phone repeated my order to me and just hung up. They didn’t tell me when it would be ready or what the cost would be. When we pulled up, it was very busy which I thought was a good sign. We ordered a large sausage/pepperoni pizza with bread sticks. The pizza was not very good. The sauce tastes exactly like pizza sauce and the crust was too soft. I tried eating it the next day to see if it was better as left overs, but it was not. I ended up throwing it away. The breadsticks were good. I am not a very picky person when it comes to pizza, but this was just overall not good.

Nice pizza and good service! The only thing I have to complain about is the cramped space inside the dining area. Do NOT try to use the restroom here if you can help it! It is… extremely tiny, haha. The employees are very friendly and witty, and it is the perfect place for families of all sizes and types with children of any age. :) I do recommend the place!

Ohhh Tony’s pizza! I love your spaghetti and meatballs, pasta primavera and the special crawfish cream pasta which is my favorite. The interior of the restaurant is a little outdated but I guess it’s part of the charm of the place. Although I’m not a big fan of thin crust pizza like they have because I like thicker and fluffier crust, the pizza tasted authentic and they’re always friendly from the guy who take the order in the front down to the server who refills your drink. It’s one of those places that you go to if you’re visiting family in Lake Charles whether it’s pick up or dining.

1) Restaurant is NOTADA friendly. Bathrooms are not accessible to handicapped people because no wheelchairs can possibly even fit through those tiny passages and it is not likely that they can even fit in the restaurant. ADA service dog laws are not followed, either, and the staff is extremely rude about it. «Q7. What questions can a covered entity’s employees ask to determine if a dog is a service animal? A. In situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions:(1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and(2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person’s disability. Q8. Do service animals have to wear a vest or patch or special harness identifying them as service animals? A. No. The ADA does not require service animals to wear a vest, ID tag, or specific harness.» And «Q17. Does the ADA require that service animals be certified as service animals? A. No. Covered entities may not require documentation, such as proof that the animal has been certified, trained, or licensed as a service animal, as a condition for entry. There are individuals and organizations that sell service animal certification or registration documents online. These documents do not convey any rights under the ADA and the Department of Justice does not recognize them as proof that the dog is a service animal.» 2) The food is not really that great. The only thing that is truly good is the alfredo. If people think this is Italian, this is a huge joke. Olive Garden is closer and that’s not even real Italian! This is hardly Italian. It is just sauce with hot spices. 3) Sometimes the food even makes you sick. I have had a roast beef sandwich from here. I took one bite and the meat immediately made me sick! I couldn’t eat that sandwich AND I had to wait to be able to eat anything else.

I have been eating here since I was a kid. My dad ate here when he was a kid. In my opinion you can’t beat nostalgia and great food. My husband and I plan on taking our daughter here and making a third generation of great memories. There are very few establishments in Lake Charles that can provide that for so many people. Honestly, I have never been a fan of the pizza. But the po boys, salads, and pasta are all great. The cheese sticks and jalepeno poppers are also great. Another great thing is that it is always consistent. I have ate here countless times and I always get the same taste, presentation, etc.

Pasta and salads outstanding. Staff exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. Just a nice place to dine and relax. However, can’t give any high marks to the pizza. Taste and toppings nice, but the crust really just so-so. Overall, a very nice meal. Will definitely go back, but we’ll stick with the pastas and salads next time.

I want to write this review for you. This time I went to tony’s pizza in lake charles. I went with a date and the first thing the guy says on the megaphone outside like on some outside speaker was ‘put out that cigarette’ like how rude and embarrasing. ANyway we go in and i ask for ‘chicago style’ pizza and they say they are ‘out of it’. so I ask how can you be out of it since it is just a little bit thicker crust. just make the crust think and the man is like ‘we get the crusts in frozen we dont make it’. I said you are kidding right? this place is literally called ‘tony’s pizza’ and you dont even make your own pizza you just get frozen products and heat it up? wtf? i could do that at the grocery for cheap’ and the man is like ‘sir you gonna order something or do you need to leave’ fine i order a tony’s sandwich which no surprise its just a thin piece of ham squished together with probably heated albertson’s rolls, sauteed in a light garlique butter sauce. then the most insane thing happened. the man is like i know nic. i am his friend. i have connections. you will need to leave the restaurant. so i said im not finished eating my tony’s sandwich. mm its the best in town. darrel’s has nothing on this sandwich. man is like sir im going to have you arrested for trespassing in my business. i know nic and i am going to have a new restaurant some time next year. i was like whatever dude can i just pay for my delicious tony’s pizza and he said ok that will be $ 8.50. i actually really like this restaurant. i go whenever i am travelling through lake charles on the way to beaunmont. its just a hop off i-210 you should check it out. tell them eric sent u.

Was craving pizza and stop by this place only to walk out. We were going to dine in but we entered & asked to be seated the owner said we need to ordefirst… Awkward!!! The dining room is separate from where you order at the front door. So when we attempted to order the counters are soooooooooo high you can’t see over them. Then we asked the guy taking orders to show us the size of a medium pizza. He pulled out a ring of cut out cardboard for examples of the sizes. For $ 17 the pizza was the size of a personal pan pizza. I looked at my husband & walked out of Tony’s!!!

5 star lasagna! I travelled to Lake Charles for work and walked to Tony’s Pizza from my hotel. No sidewalks, but I’m brave! Anyway, while the appearance of Tony’s was unimpressive, the lasagna dinner was magnificent! For $ 9.95 it came with a side salad and garlic bread. I also got a bottle of Barefoot Merlot — in the funny little airplane travel bottle. The salad was what you’d expect, some lettuce and a tomato slice. The bread was soft and bland, but the lasagne more than made up for it. A homemade effort with six kinds of cheese, two kinds of meat and the perfect amount of sauce. I ate every last bite and sopped up the leftover sauce and cheese. Seriously, It may be the best lasagna I have ever had. Five stars for the lasagna!!! Everything else maybe a 3 – 4. Service was fast and friendly. Good value.

My family has been coming here since they opened, so of course so have I and now my family. We live out of town now, and I hate all other pizza outside of New York. If you’re looking for the place where the locals go, then you’ve hit the jackpot for Italian. The ambiance is awesome and the food is so loved. Our go to favorites are: Tony’s special pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, any salad, roast beef poboy, ham and cheese, or meatball sub, and the toasted ravioli!

We enjoyed three daily specials of chicken Parmesan with spaghetti marinara and a salad and bread. We also ordered two 9″ all Meat pizza. It fed five of us and was delicious. Then we ordered an additional special and the salad came out swimming in dressing. The waitress did apologize and she suggested to order the dressing on the side next time. Overall, this food was only 62 $ and we all felt terrific after eating. Delicious homemade cooked food at great prices! The only drawback is a very tiny bathroom and cramped dining area. We heard the waitresses and waiters talking right by our tables about business. It felt slightly awkward but overall we were very happy with our experience.

First time here. Was very impressed. Food was very good, fast service and waitress was awesome! I got the Tony’s special pasta, husband got lasagna, and daughter got meatball po boy. Portions where large. We have traveled all over and was really surprised how good the local Italian was. I would pick this over Olive Garden any day!

This is one of the worst places I have ever eaten. It has been a few years since I had tried it so I decided to give it another shot. I shouldn’t have. The food is overpriced and the pizza is honestly as close to Tombstone as you can get without grabbing it from Walmart. The Italian is average at best, and the pizza is sad. I don’t know how they lasted this long, I really don’t.

My favorite Italian restaurant in LC. Spaghetti and meatballs is fantastic. Since I was little this has been my go to spaghetti and meatballs place. Meatballs are homemade and served with delicious garlic bread that is delicious. For desert get the derby pie! It is awesome!

Its a shame Tony’s has such a low rating due to a few fake users abusing the system but I can guarantee it is undeserving. Tony’s, like few other family owned businesses nowadays, still gives you that feeling of comfort you just can’t find anywhere. Like you are truly welcome and your company is enjoyed. As an example, eating and lounging at your stereotypical grandparents house, very relaxed and comfy. Anyway the environment is very welcoming but that quickly dissolves when you realize how cramped dinning in can be. The rush seems to be constant but if you get in without a wait you pretty much have it made. In most cases your elbow to elbow with your neighbors and trying to hear your own words out of the scrambled roar of conversations. Yes, I’m saying its loud, but its not a bad thing. It’s mostly joyful cause everyone is enjoying their great food. Let me be clear here though, when I say great food, I mean excellent food. No the quality isn’t top notch and no it isn’t an explosion of flavor or mind blowing combinations, its just great dishes that they have been making year after year the same way they always have. Everything taste clean and fresh, and I don’t feel greasy after smashing a pizza by myself. The hot ham and cheese is also a hunger killer and something you won’t stop thinking about for at least am hour or two. The prices are higher than you’d expect but its not overpriced, because the portions seem to match. The menu isn’t very diverse but has what people typically order. The service could be improved, in some areas drastically, but it isn’t much of an issue because you deal with them maybe twice throughout the meal. Also the parking is a huge hassle, just park in the back, that front spot isn’t worth being blocked in for a half hour. Overall Tony’s brings back memories of my childhood with my family, and this is one of the few things nostalgia hasn’t over hyped in my head. The food is great, well priced, the comfort is effortless and did I say the food is great?

Lunch provided us with an opportunity to experience a great treat from my childhood with my aging parents and sister served up by a family that understands pizza and service. The food has always been outstanding and after more than 5 years since my last taste of this wonderful food my opinion hasn’t changed Bravo Bravo! load up your pie with all the fresh toppings it will be served up hot and fresh right at your table. Ask for the special sauce you will be tempted to squirt it straight in your mouth but please don’t instead load your pizza or sandwich and you will be soooooooo happy thanks guys for keeping it real :-)

Short and sweet. I’m from the Dallas area. I’ve been here three times. Hands down the best Roast Beef PoBoy anywhere! The onion rings are to die for. Nice and crispy. Did I mention the sauce? It’s so good you can drink it from the bottle! I see some negative reviews. I guess everyone is different but, the place has been in business since 1968. Every time I’ve been here the place is packed with locals. That tells me a lot. Go here. It’s a can’t miss!
