Gary knows everything about the north woods. And the Italian Beef will kill you — and I mean that in only the best way. Juicy and fabulous. Makes a mean dog, too.

Best Chicgo Style Hot Dogs you can get in the WI Northwoods! Gary the owner is top notch and always willing to talk and get to know you. For something special try the Tamale Boat, one of my favorites.

This is a really good, very small eatery on the reservation that serves one of the best Chicago dogs I have ever enjoyed. It’s about a 7 mile drive from my house, yet qualifies as a neighborhood place to stop for a dog, Italian beef or tamales. Most of you will never enjoy this place, but just know it exists :)
