This place has the best bubble tea in the area by far and great service! The only difficulty can be catching them when they are open. You have a better chance if it’s after 1pm. It’s worth it!

I’ve been coming here for awhile. I can remember when it first opened and all the hype around it. Since then it’s a little run down but I enjoy the bubble tea there! I usually get taro coconut, or some kind of fruit fruit drink. It’s so cheap! Plus, if you have a punch card, you buy 9 and get the 10th one FREE!

New to town and looking for a bubble tea place, called ahead of time to see if they used real fruit which they said they did. I got a avocado honeydew and when I tried the tea and the powder taste was so overwhelming and not good. I couldn’t drink it I had to throw it away, save your money.

It was okay bubble tea, but I am not sure I will be back. It looks like it was a busy, fun shop a few years ago, but it kind of sad now.

Yet again another place I liked to visit only because it was close to where I use to live. This place only sells bubble tea and it is not the best depending on who is there to make it. There are a variety of flavors and have a lounge like place to relax while you wait or just chill out for a few minutes. They are creative with flavors and often times have a flavor of the day like Mango Papaya or a crazy mix that you might not have thought of. I usually stayed with the familiar watermelon or strawberry with tapioca. I’ve had better at local Phở restaurants in Lakewood.

I finally made it to Bubble Island when they were actually open. The hours aren’t posted anywhere and I believe they kind of make their own hours. I believe they’ve been short handed for the longest time so they’re been working with what they’ve got. Anyway, there are two different main choices for the teas(powdered and real fruit). I opted for a strawberry powdered with mixed jellies. The cashier was friendly then disappeared behind a separator wall to blend up the teas. The waiting area is sparsely furnished and had a few activities to keep the kids busy as well as a foosball table. All the furniture has brightly colored slip covers on them. The bright colors give the shop a festive island look but a festive island feel as many of the slipcovers are not in great shape or stained with substances. The bubble tea is not the greatest nor the worst I’ve had. I will try the real fruit kind next time and see if my review changes. This place only serves bubble tea so if you’re hungry, get food elsewhere.

I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school which is almost for 8 years now! The bubble tea is delicious, I love Chocolate Taro with ice cream. There are hardly any other places to get ice cream with your shake so I love coming here. The store has looked the same for 8 years, the polaroids on the wall are incredibly old and the furniture probably needs to be reupholstered, but it’s hardly so dirty that if a child fell on the floor their«pants would be black». The staff just does their job of making your beverage, don’t expect them to kiss your feet, or smile for that matter. It’s a decent bubble tea spot.

I was intrigued by the single review(on Urbanspoon), and I am glad I tried this place! The best bubble tea I’ve ever had, period. Don’t be fooled by the poor examples of bubble tea many restaurants out here serve, as I was. Try this place out! They have a loyalty punch card that you need to ask for if you go here regularly. One wasn’t offered the first couple times we went here, which is a little irritating, but other than that I was a fan when I lived in Lacey.

Their bubble tea is good, I’ll give them that(which is the only reason why I gave them 2 stars). However, the people who work there are always so rude that I won’t be going back. I don’t think it’s just me either, because I’ve heard this from other people as well. The shop is also very dirty. My toddler fell on the floor and her pants were black. I hate to see what the back area looks like! Anyway, I’m on the hunt for a new bubble tea spot now.

When I first saw Bubble Island I was hyped. I thought I had found a new spot to get my bubble tea fix since moving away from Seattle. I assumed it would be good since they specialized in making it. I was wrong and it fails in comparison to Yunnies, WOW, and Gossip. Now, the first time I went ordered the matcha green tea milkshake and it was decent, but the tapioca was overcooked. Instead of being chewy and sweet the tapioca was hard and bitter. I just thought it was a fluke so I came back a week later to try again. This time I ordered an orange mango milkshake and to my dismay I had the same results. Besides, having bad tapioca they have a very limited selection of flavors options and do their no milk tea. Overall, they make a good shake. It a decent place to lounge and play board games with friends or study. Just avoid adding tapioca to your drink.

A friendly little shop tucked into the Fred Meyer plaza. Their big fresh fruit smoothies are yummy and fairly priced, with options like added protein and of course their bubbly tapioca balls. The staff are nice, the seating comfy and the atmosphere casual.
