I’m a fan of Meconi’s. Primarily because they have gluten free bread that’s made in-house. It does tend to be dry and fall apart but what do you expect from a gluten free bread?!? I was in here was before in the evening and they did not have any. So, if you want the gluten free goods, you gotta get in early. My corned beef on gluten free bread was delicious. Salty and oily and everything a person could ask for after restricting carbs for a month. The service was really fast. I was probably only there 10 minutes and there were a few orders before mine. This probably isn’t a dinner option for me but definitely a good lunch spot. Bonus: they serve beer and wine. Cheers!

Co-workers got some takeout orders for the office. I ordered the«Chicken Philly», bowl of chili, and side of potato salad. The chili was good and the potato salad was a little bland but good too. It means they don’t drench the salad in straight up mayo. The sandwich felt like it was missing something but hey, chicken philly usually taste a little bland. It’s always good to get the steak philly because that the OG. Next time I will try the philly again in steak and it might bump up another star. Great value too. You get a good amount for the price they charge. Definitely beats out the common sandwich places like Subway, Jersey Mikes, and Jimmy Johns.

Point blank… The sandwiches here are amazing. Grant it, all I get is a Philly Cheesesteak, they make it great every single time. Not an expensive place, you can spend as much as you would at a chain sandwich shop but receive WAYWAYWAY better tasting fresh food and service.

On arrival I’m impressed not only in the size of this place(with lots of off-street parking too), but with how popular it is! Order up front, find a seat, and your order# is called out and delivered. I ordered the Italian Sub, plus had it prepared«Cosmo Style» –which means toasted. The bread really makes a sandwich, especially a Submarine Sandwich. Definitely one of the best tasting buns around. The meats were delicious too, plus toppings and sauces all added up to a great meal. If you’re in the(Olympia/Lacey) area and thinking about a sandwich, stopping at one of their four locations is a must. On the way out you’ll grab a menu and look forward to eating here again!

Sandwiches are always amazing! I’m pretty sure they make their own bread which makes it 10x more amazing! Customer service is always good nothing extraordinary but their food is to die for!

in the area and wanted a sandwich, my bf recommended the place so we headed on over for dinner. it’s newly remodeled and it looks amazing, this location is really nice, clean, inviting, and friendly. all their subs and other food items were fairly priced and I quickly realized for the amount that you get, it’s more than a great deal. my bf and I both got the Italian and it was sooooo good, better than any other sub joint I have tried. the bread tastes so fresh, as well as the meat used, also the veggies are nice and crisp. I decided to try a small side of the pasta salad since it was only $ 3 and it did not disappoint. this paired with my sub was the perfect dinner, left me full and satisfied. only negative comment is that the only time I’ll get meconis is when I’m in lacey. really wish they had locations in the north. but other than that, love this sub shop!

Amazing subs. We had only been in Olympia for less than 10 mintues and were starving after travelling all day. I wanted something filling, but good. Meconi’s really hit the spot. I ordered a half sandwich and my husband ordered a full. Wow, were the sandwiches big and packed full of goodness. The bread was super soft and everything had a great flavor. The prices were a little high when comparing it to subway, but you get what you paid for. The staff was also very friendly.
