I’m not from Washington, but everytime I’ve visited my boyfriend in Washington, we’ve gone here to eat their donuts and pastries! I love their maple bars and the price is so cheap it’s impossible to resist! I wish there were good donut places like this back home where I live. This place is modest and the staff is really friendly. It’s a great stop and go place to grab your morning pick me up before starting your day!

Woke up one morning craving a donut, and not just any donut but something different, something from a place I’d never been to before. This place filled that need and then some. All the baked goods, not just donuts but their cinnamon rolls and scones, are spectacular. Everything is fresh, light ad airy, just as a donut should be. The two people working early in the mornings are very friendly and look like they love working there.

I love this bakery!
When I lived in Lacey, and needed to make a trip to the post office, I’d always swing by to get donuts! The prices are more than fair for half a dozen, or even a dozen. I used to often swing by before work to bring a box to my co-​workers, and the donuts would definitely be gone before the end of the day.

They have an amazing sour cream/​old fashioned doughnut! We love the way it smells when you go inside. They are family owned and very nice. I like these doughnuts much better than Heavenly because they taste better and last longer!

The next time you visit this place, look up at the ceiling. They haven’t cleaned the vents in years, obviously. It’s absolutely disgusting. I don’t want my crueller served with a side of dust mites, thanks but no thanks. Used to be a good place and I have spent lots of money there in the past, but not anymore. Too bad. CLEAN YOUR VENTS!

This bakery is like home made down to earth desserts and yes some healthy food too.

went into this bakery to get an apple fritter… based on a co-​worker. saw 2 chicks sitting outside smoking… inside, no on was there and the two chicks came into the store. one went behind the counter… did not bother to wash her hands… on that note, i left/​. wtf? smoking your disgusting cigarettes outside, come inside reeking of an ashtray, to sell me a pastry w/​o even washing your disgusting cigarette hands? HELL to the NO! I can only imagine what she does when no one is looking. E-​COLI alert on this chick !!11/​4/​445 pm.

Whatever you do do not talk politics with the bald guy. The donuts are great but man that guy can work on some customer service skills. As much as he is passionate about politics he is willing to belittle you so just beware.

We went out of our to visit this bakery on our trip from Seattle to Portland and it was well worth the detour! Glazed doughnuts are light and fluffy with just the right amount of glaze – you can actually still taste the doughnut. The pecan cinnamon roll is the perfect combination of flaky and fluffy! The scones are perfectly dense with just the right amount of moisture. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this bakery!

This is a fantastic bakery and the family that owns it is local. Every time I’m in the area, I want to stop by and get something for me and my daughter. The employees are sanitary, humorous, friendly, respectful, and even conversational, if you want them to be. I used to sit at the tables and do my homework when I was in college, so if I wanted to talk, they were all for it, but if I needed to work, I was given my space. This place is by far my absolute favorite bakery from Longview to Seattle. You just can’t beat that local love! keep up the good work!

They have the best maple bars here! I have had fresh made donuts at numerous places, but these are by far the best. The only complaint I had was that the apple fritter I purchased didn’t have enough apple in it, but it was still delicious :)
Oh yeah I almost forgot, the one girl who works there that wears the bandanna and the tight fitting shirts is really hot!

For many past years, I would come here every so often and bought donuts. They were a little more expensive and not as good compared to Albertson. This is when I see the old guy, dressed in his all white chef uniform baking donuts during the early morning hours, when, I go to the gym next door. Now, I don’t see the old man anymore, but several young white guys dressed in regular street clothes, looking ragged and dirty, with unkempt head and facial hair, which made me think, some of their hairs, may have fallen into the dough and someone chewing and swallowing it. That, gives me a gross thought in my mind. But, what is worst, is when I see them smoking outside; are they washing their hands after or even washing after they come out of the bathroom. Most everyone judge people by appearance and after watching these guys, I would never buy donuts from them, ever again.

ATTENTION VETERANS!!! Today I came into this shop with my registered service dog. The man behind the counter threw a fit and yelled at me even after I informed him this was a service dog. He stated he didn’t care and the county was behind him. When I asked him to show me the law he stated «the kids must have taken it down.» I produced my service dog badge and registration and him and his wife joined in on the yelling and humiliation. I have been a customer since John owned the place in 1997… shame, I will never go back. If you are or support Veterans don’t go here!!!

Great little bakery on the go! Fantastic Maple bars and cinnamon rolls the only bad thing about it is that it’s so close to my apartment.

I got the most beautiful marbled birthday cake for my daughter. After I cut out a large 1^st piece (for the birthday girl!) I had to take a picture of the cake with the missing piece. The marbling was amazing and look so cool. The cake also tasted great so it was probably one of the best cakes I have every bought!

I ordered my wedding cake here. The owner is a super nice lady. It didn’t quite come out EXACTLY the way I wanted but it was still pretty. And the taste! Oh Lordy! Everyone at my wedding LOVED the cake and the cupcakes we ordered from them. Absolutely delicious. If you have a sweet tooth or just a hankering, you MUST MUST MUST try this place. Super friendly staff and I’ll repeat it again, the cake is AWESOME. (So awesome that every time I open my freezer and see my top layer that is being saved for our anniversary I want to hide in our workshop and eat it and tell my husband the power went out. Or the dog ate it. Or it’s disappeared because it was so delicious aliens read my Unilocal review and came but they were closed so they located the nearest available cake from here and took it in the night.)

As of two months ago I would have given them a five star… Dec 2012 they made my son an amazing fondant birthday cake, not perfect with the fondant but for the price I was pleased!
Now, dec 2013, cake pick up time.1130, not done until after 1230! We had a party to setup! Thankfully the party was at home and not at another place with time restrictions! She didn’t even call to tell me it was going to e done over an hour late! A call would have greatly helped me with set up! Ice cream melted in the car waiting for her!
I planned on using this place for all my sons birthday cakes, provally not now though, if you do, ask it to be done hours before you really need it. If she would have just called and explained I would not have been so upset :(on the plus side, cake looked good, not perfect like a specialty store but good given the lower than other places prices.

I stumbled across this place while going to the post office. I absolutely love independent bakeries so I decided to stop in.
The place looked cute on the inside and there were a few people sitting at some tables inside. I picked a blueberry scone and a donut with sliced almonds on top. I normally don’t eat scones, but it just looked so good so I decided to try it. I was expecting the total to be close to $ 4, but the total was $ 1.75. What a bargain!
Both items were delicious and I will be back this weekend with my kids.

We love this bakery! fantastic scones, muffins, danishes, maple bars, etc. They’ve given us free coffee before and even cake scraps while we munched and watched them decorate a wedding cake. They are always friendly and happy to see you. Just don’t try to go on Sundays, they’re closed.

Had a deal for this spot (possibly Amazon local??) and visited the other day to make use of it. The location is not the easiest to find… it’s in a strip mall next to a discount haircut place and a post office if I remember correctly. Once you arrive though, you know you’re in a bakery. The waitperson behind the counter appeared to be the manager/​owner, and was the only person working when I visited around lunch time on a Friday afternoon. She was amazingly friendly, made suggestions on combinations of muffins, pastries, and donuts, and thanked me profusely for purchasing the deal. Amazingly, often businesses seem confused and/​or irritated about them, so it was nice to see someone happy to see one get used.
I ended up with several muffins (a carrot cake, a cranberry, a lemon, an apple pie, and a blackberry), as well as several donuts (apple fritters, as well as a couple old fashioned). They even waived the remaining balance after the deal certificate was subtracted from the total (less than a dollar, but every penny counts!). I and those I shared these with were very happy with all of the above. Hands down favorite was the carrot cake muffin-​light and fluffy, with a cream cheese fluffy frosting inside and on top. Waitperson said the apple pie was a favorite but that was a little much for me– actual apple pie filling inside the muffin! Also, they were ginormous. So… I really loved this place, and I wish it were closer, but then again it’s probably best that it isn’t haha.
