Every time we come here the food is really inconsistent and its expensive for what you get. The service is always good, that’s why I’m giving two stars. There isn’t much chicken in the enchiladas, the tacos have flavorless beef in them, and the salsa is bland. We left hungry with a big bill.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time. My wife and I have eaten so many meals at this wonderful place. Every single one has been consistently perfect! Its even made her into quite the Mexican food lover! The wet burrito is incredible. Their green salsa is the best I think I’ve ever had, and that’s after living for 20 years in New Mexico. Their tacos are superb and you can really taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients. Get lime on them and your mouth will be in heaven. Even their horchata is stellar and doesn’t taste like the powdered crap you get at many places. Additionally, you can count on this food being clean and fresh. I can’t count the number of times I’ve gotten sick from Mexican food. Never, ever at Paco’s! For those who might complain about the speed or price, please remember that this is a sit-down restaurant. Compared to other sit-down Mexican restaurants, Paco’s is quick and very affordable. The owners and staff are also such fantastic people. They make eating at local restaurants better! Seriously, the friendliest people. One of the best things about Olympia and a must try!

Been here a few times. Sometimes okay, sometimes not. Never really great. Too inconsistent for a good review.

Disappointed. Went in to order a quick lunch to go. Nothing is quick when everything on the menu needs to be explained because what is a Seahaws burrito? The cashier didn’t even know what ingredients were in it. After asking about what other things on the menu were she was clearly irritated explaining what the food was. Put a description up, and it won’t be a problem. Over 20 minutes later we had to ask where the 1 burrito and 3 tacos were. In doesn’t take 10 minues at a truck. And there is a great one in front of Fred Meyers. I then asked for to go containers. I was told you have to un pack the food they bagged up, remove the tin foil, add whatever, wrap it back up and package it. I turned to leave as(quick lunch, right?) and she snaps«I can give you a container but I will charge you .50 for each one» in a rude tone of voice. Sorry, I don’t need the hassle when I stop for quick food to go. The food was expensive, the burrito was small, the tacos were smashed flat on the plate. Not appetizing. No sauce of any kind. Chicken is very dry. Disappointed. Won’t be back.

I’ve gone several times because I like to support local businesses. However, the value is not good. It’s over $ 9 for a fajita burrito that is smaller than a burrito at Taco Time — and it’s not any better. For $ 9 I expected a reasonably sized burrito. The same holds true for the rest of the food I’ve purchased there. The quality is fine but the prices are too high. For my money, I’ll go to Ramirez from now on.

Beware — Pacos Tacos is addicting! It takes tremendous will power not to go there for lunch every day. The first time I went, I ordered the pork tacos and they are so delicious I have never ordered anything else. The owner is a very nice person and always chats and the ladies who work at the counter are great. Try it. You’ll be hooked.

It’s close to home so we’ve been back a few times… I’ve discovered they have pretty good nachos.

Excellent customer service and reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken taco combo meal and husband ordered the chicken wet burrito. They were both very good although the tacos were a bit too salty for my taste. The chips were delicious– warm, thick and crunchy fried awesomeness.

Best Mexican food we have found in washinhton! Best tamales I’ve had anywhere, hands down. My whole family was happy with their orders and we will definitely be back! Friendly, family run business. Awesome food.

Excellent food and service. I ordered it to go an the food was up in minutes. Probably the best marinated pork wet burrito and tamales that I’ve had to date. The place was clean and tidy. The girl behind the counter was polite and happy. Will definitely be going back. And it’s on the way home from work!

After a lack of really decent Jalisco style food on the cheap I was so excited to find Paco’s! I had a quick snack at the Thurston County fair when I came back on a visit from Alaska. Now, being back 5 years, I love to get a carñe asada wet burrito with extra steak & avocado. The food is like my husband’s recipes. Not hot(unless u want it that way), full of delicate, rich, & authentic flavor. Chilies thart are made into a fab red sauce… ok all carnitas in red sauce is not pork in a chili infused tomato sause. A good red sauce is a mélange of various dried, reconstituted(w broth), chilies, onion garlic, & sometimes a whole roated tomato. Mmmmm… Great service! Not fancy, clean«hole in the wall», «soda» ie a family run food establishment. Pura Vida Paco y familia

Judging from the positive reviews, I must have had a one-off dining experience. First, you order at the counter, eat your meal, and then go back up to the counter to pay. You don’t have to be a systems analyst to figure out how they could streamline this process. The chips were oily and hard, the salsa was bland, the zanahorias en escabeche(Mexican spicy pickled carrots) were mushy — a cardinal sin, and the huevos rancheros were just okay. Obviously, I ordered the wrong thing. Again, a lot of other people like this place, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Love the food … I do. The food is good and the salsa great. Many people want fast and ready. Those people can go to a fast food restaurant. Food prepared fresh takes time. Wait for it.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday. Prices seem about a dollar too much. When we ran out of chips they wanted to charge us another dollar. If we had sat at different tables we would have gotten a basket of chips each. Beans were runny. Service was ok and the wet burrito was good but I can’t imagine they’ll be there forever because it wasn’t very welcoming.

the tacos were good, but the service took forever. I ordered three tacos and it took them almost 20 minutes to bring it out to the table, there was only one other table of customers and they were already eating, so I dont know what took so long. three stars because even though the food was ok, most places serve you tacos way faster.

The owner was so nice and I had really good experience with him helping me decide what to order. Im glad I finally went because everyone has been telling me to go for years. Great food and lovely workers!

Went in with my service animal and was quickly kicked out because the lady said they don’t allow dogs. I don’t tolerate ignorance, so that’s why they deserve 1 star. She needed to be educated.

Worst smallest most expensive 8oz uncooked beans burrito I’ve ever ate. Not the first time I’ve been there, and haven’t have a good experience on the pass either, I’m all about supporting local business, but with uncooked hard cold beans is hard to enjoy any meal specially when I pay $ 8.00 for about 8 oz of beans and rice.

Not a bad place. Tacos are good though not made the same twice in a row. It adds variety though. The variety of salsas are nice. Their breakfast burritos are good, most of the time. They have eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, beans, and potatoes. Again, they’re not consistent. Sometimes they forget to add any meat! The problem is that they’re not consistently open. Unilocal says they open at 8:30. Their door sign says they open at 9. I’m not sure what time they really open as we’ve been there after 9 several times now and found them closed.

I was a little concerned with the overall star average for this place but my concern became unwarranted after I ate here. I came here for a quick snack and got the pork tacos here. They tasted great, good service and a nice attitude. I would love to come back here again whenever I am in Lacey. The food is of good quality and the prices are reasonable.
