My family stopped in on a Saturday morning. Steady stream of people. Staff was very friendly and even made some recommendations to help us make our choices. I had the vanilla Chai latte and oh my, was it ever good! They have all kinds of edibles and the cinnamon rolls are great. We will definitely come back.

If you’re looking for an espresso beverage or a bite to eat in Lacon, there are several options at the Coffee Hub. Pies, bottled sodas, soup, sandwiches, Home made fudge, specially popcorn and much more are available. They also have some neat local artwork on the walls, and there is a decent amount of seating.
Unbeknownst to me, my husband ordered the same coffee beverage as I did but asked for his extra hot. I’m not sure whether I got his or mine, but both were indeed extra hot.
It’s nice to be able to support a local café on a Sunday morning.

The coffee hub is one of our favorite spots near lake wildwood. I can’t wait to enjoy the yummy fudgy goodness ice cream! It’s a special treat everytime!

The service is really good and the wait time is barely five minutes until you get your food. The smoothies are delicious and so are the bagels. There are sodas, pies, ice cream, and some breakfasty type things– bagels, oatmeal, muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc. There are couches and a fireplace in the back too. Open on Sundays and if you just want to stop by quickly and eat somewhere, this would be the place to go.

In a word: awesome.
An idyllic, central Illinois community with a wonderful «Mom-​and-​Pop» feel now boasts a coffee haus with a cozy vibe one can only experience on the banks of the mighty Illinois River.
The Coffee Hub blends a hip shop feel with small town Americana… assorted beans roasted by area vendors, local honey, jellies/​jams and assorted sundries are also for sale. The baristas are wonderful, funny and they know their coffee!
If you’re just passing through or a central Illinois resident making a day-​trip up river, get your coffee fix on at the Coffee Hub!

Nice little ice cream & coffee shop. Lots of nice sweets, and over 70 varieties of Illinois bottled soda. The owner is very nice, offered to let us taste every flavor of ice cream before we chose.

Milwaukee, WI
Lacon, Illinois– home of Marshall County deputies, a tank, and apparently some pretty good coffee. The folks are friendly, and a lot of people were just hanging around reading books, doing puzzles (puzzling?) and drinking coffee. They also have coffee and some nice pastries.
Big plus for being open on Sunday and providing a latte for the long drive home.

Nice place. Ice cream was very tasty and coffee had a great favor. Apple pie was very good. Nice variety for everyone. Wish them lots of success. Great place to promote Lacon.

Amazing coffee house! Great atmosphere, excellent and friendly baristas, better quality and less expensive than your typical Starbucks. Very pleasantly surprised :)
