Wow is all I can say. Literally from the second you arrive you are welcomed and treated like a member of the family. Pat and Mike are extraordinarily kind, thoughtful and their memory is amazing. When we arrived Pat welcomed us and told us about the history of the house which, by the way is such a quaint little place with I believe 5 totally different bedrooms each one is uniquely laid out and very«Homey» Pat informed us how everything works from the Wi-Fi to the locks to when and what was for breakfast each day, she even asked what our preferences were and when I mentioned that I didn’t care for eggs, sure enough the next morning Mike introduced himself to us and said«Now Sean, I believe you don’t like eggs right?» I was so impressed by this! They gave us recommendations on local restaurants and attractions and even had coupons for some of them! Now for the breakfast… Pat made the most delicious pancakes I have ever had in my life, followed up the next day by heavenly scones and blueberry muffins and then on our last day Mike made homemade soufflé’s in these neat little individual crocks, everything was fantastic from start to finish and we will absolutely be making this our«Go To» place every year we visit the area. Thank you Pat and Mike for the wonderful experience! Sean and Angela

Great owners, great accommodations, terrific breakfast. Stayed here for 2 nights in the Boon Island Light room nicely furnished. Mikes breakfast’s were terrific as were Pat’s baked goods. Good advice on the area too.

Lovely inn; lovely owners; fantastic rooms and food. Mike and Pat were wonderful! They gave us great advice on touring the area and even booked tickets for us for activities on Squam Lake.

We stayed at the Lighthouse B&B in June 2014. It was a last minute trip for our wedding anniversary. The owners, Pat and Mike, are incredibly welcoming and have great senses of humor. We really enjoyed the breakfasts as well as the homemade chocolate chip cookies and(complimentary!) red wine which were available every afternoon. The location itself is excellent — close to the town pier in Meredith for a lakeside experience — and also conveniently located for day hikes — we did Chocorua and several hikes near Squam Lake. The price was very reasonable and we definitely plan on returning!

Perhaps the single best hospitality experience I’ve had in my lifetime. We took the Boon Island Light room for two nights on Memorial Day weekend, and absolutely adored every moment of the experience. King size bed, vanity area, full closet, great water pressure, soft towels, and an electric fireplace for a little extra heat when necessary. Breakfast is simply regal. Every breakfast features muffins, fresh fruit, toast and jelly, yogurt, juices, and cereal, all to take on your own as needed. Then there’s the hot entrée served from the kitchen. We were treated to the Fireman’s Scramble with incredibly tasty spicy sausage, and a French Toast so good it didn’t need maple syrup. But they had real maple syrup anyway! Pat and Mike are the two nicest human beings in the known universe. Not being 100% sure what to do on our vacation, they plotted a course full of fun things to do in the Winni area. We supplemented with some self-generated ideas, and created an unforgettable weekend. I can’t say enough. Fresh cookies and complementary wine every day too!

We loved the Lighthouse Inn. From the moment we stepped inside we were treated like family. Mike and Pat are incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was comfortable: we had a gas fireplace and a whirlpool tub. Breakfast was DELICIOUS! All their recommendations– from restaurants to activities– were spot on. They helped us with snow shoeing, which was a blast. We can’t wait to go back.
