What a wonderful place to re-​charge, and relax, it sure does some good for your soul. The hubby and I needed to get away and so happy we finally were able to come to the Wild Iris. We arrive 30 minutes ahead of their check-​in time, and the lovely woman behind the desk was so sweet with accommodating us. She gave us a quick tour and showed us to our room. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and so cozy. We splurged and opted for the «deluxe king suite» with the the jetted tub inside. We slept pretty well, the bed was quite comfy, the shower was nice, and of course the tub was amazing. Even with the inn being at almost full capacity we really didn’t hear much noise from other guests, except for the jacuzzi tub humming from other rooms. The only time we saw other guests was at breakfast time or within passing each other. The breakfast was really good, so filling and fresh. The view of the farm land from our room was nice. The cookies as everyone has mentioned are amazing! I wish we had more! This will be our go to place the next time we come back. Very nice for a romantic getaway or even yourself!
Some tips:
–The jacuzzi tubs can only be operated between 8am-​11pm, not sure if the same applies for the outside ones
–If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please tell them at check-​in or put it on your online reservation request, or if you rather dine in your room for breakfast let them know
–If you need any supplies, there is Pioneer Market down the street that opens until 10pm
–You don’t need your car if you plan on sight seeing around La Conner, the shops and waterfront are all within walking distance
–Bring your own bottle of wine, there’s a bottle opener in the room
–Eat the cookie, savor it! ;)

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. A nice walk to Downtown and you can enjoy the unique shops, cafes and restaurants. We will come back.

Cutest little bed and breakfast. Delicious fresh cookies when we checked in and a really good breakfast in the morning. Rooms were a good size and we had a bathtub in the room. Price point was also great for the property. If we make it to La Connor again, we will definitely stay there again!

Many, many thanks to the wonderful couple who have hosted us for two anniversaries in a row, plus our honeymoon. LaConner is a quaint town, and this bed and breakfast has a suite that will accommodate a romantic night for two, with an in-​room spa tub. Two fresh baked delicious cookies await your sweet tooth in your room as well (which I got the recipe for my wife to bake at home). The owners made us feel so welcome, we have come back year after year. The breakfast was delicious in the morning too! All in all, our favorite B&B!

We spent our first anniversary here and it was amazing! The staff is super friendly and the room is gorgeous! And their breakfast was to die for! We will definitely come back!

This cozy getaway will nourish your soul! We checked in and walked into town to tour the shops, sip the wine and enjoy the food. All of which were top notch. Everything closes 6pm-​ish, so if u need to snag something from the store, do it early. :)

Breakfast was great. If you have dietary restrictions, speak up at check in and they will accommodate.
Ask for a room on the first floor, then you can walk right out the back door into the grass and enjoy the sun. :)

What a lovely place. We were on a tandem bike trip through the Skagit Valley and needed a place available for late reservations, this place is fairly large and had a room available. Definitely bike friendly and a very comfortable room and delicious breakfast.

Let me tell you…5 stars just isn’t enough! We came here on our 5^th anniversary for a much needed get away, Nina was an amazing innkeeper who was just the sweetest ever! Their cookies, as all have mentioned are to die for the breakfast was delish aaa do we got their wine and cheese tray, enough cheese for 6! We stayed in one of the causal guestrooms for our wedding night. Don’t let «casual guestroom» fool you. It was a beautiful space with a lot of nice, homey touches. The room was nicely decorated, and when we came in, there were two HUGE cookies waiting for us in the room. The bed and bathroom were comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was really good. The staff called us by name and were very friendly and helpful. You truly feel like an honored guest while staying there.
The irony is that we had originally made a reservation for our wedding night at another hotel in town that was actually quite a bit more costly. We stopped and looked at that room a couple weeks prior and realized the place was a dump. Then we stumbled on the Wild Iris and couldn’t believe what a nice find it was, for such a reasonable rate. I’m sure their suites are even better.
They are within walking distance of the main street in LaConner, and although you don’t have a water view here, you get MUCH MORE for your money than the options on the water. Just the breakfast alone is worth about $ 40.
It was an ideal, romantic spot for our wedding night, and we can’t wait to go back. Will definitely make it a tradition on our anniversaries, but will probably be back before then.

We visit La Conner not only for its unique quaint shops and delicious restaurants (Seeds and La Travita, or favorites)!; but we absolutely fell in love with The Wild Iris the first time we ever stepped through her doors. That was years ago; and we are drawn back over and over again to embrace some R & R, beautiful surroundings, quiet deck overlooking farmland, and delicious breakfasts. Steve and Lori, the inn owners are simply amazing. Each room is decorated differently and beautifully. I love that you can sit at your own table in the large breakfast room. As soon as we arrive in our room, we are devouring cookies that they have for you upon arrival. We grab our cookie, sit on the deck and devour each morsel of an oatmeal infused delight full of cranberries, white chocolate, milk chocolate, and more… A delightful place.

I learned this place is run by a former hotel marketing exec. It shows as everything here is well thought out. It’s a modern purpose-​built building but with a tasteful B&B theme to it. Reasonably priced. Excellent staff. A very generous 2-​course breakfast that I doubt anyone can finish. I think they should let people choose a single course or both if they are starved. Otherwise a lot of food can go to waste.
We had the least expensive room which looks out to the parking area. It was small but nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable. In the morning on Monday however some commuter traffic going by was loud in addition to the garbage trucks. Next time I would spend the extra money to get a room facing the opposite direction overlooking what looked like a small farm field.
Oh and the cookies they give you when you arrive are a meal in itself.
You can walk a block to town. If this place was on the water or had a better territorial view I’d give it 5 stars. Almost perfect.

We had such a fun weekend in La Conner!
We arrived on a Friday night and had reserved the room with the outdoor hot tub. The room was immaculate, quiet, and cozy. The cookies they put in our room each night were ridiculous — so delicious (coconut, walnut, milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, etc).
The staff/​owners were all lovely and welcoming, and as others have stated they blew breakfast out of the water each morning. Both mornings featured a house-​made parfait (berries, berry yogurt, and granola), a sweet bread (one morning was oatmeal bread, the next morning was berry/​almond bread), and an egg dish (the first morning was a sausage/​tomato/​zucchini/​cheese frittata, and the second morning was an asparagus/​tomato/​broccoli/​cheese quiche).
The town itself is quaint. We were there in the off-​season, and I imagine there’s more to do and see in the summer. We did go for a 5-​mile run in the snow on the streets of La Conner. We appreciated the flat terrain!

Loved this inn! The rooms are clean and well-​furnished, the staff is very personable and it’s close to everything.
The breakfasts are delicious and there’s plenty of it.
We can’t wait to stay here again and bring our friends!

Definitely deserves the high ratings. The King Suite with hot tub was elegant and relaxing. I really loved the attention to detail and small touches that elevate this from B&B to a stellar experience. I look forward to staying there again. Great for a romantic getaway!

Beautiful framed photos of fields of flowers line the hallways. There’s every tea you can think of in the lobby, and breakfast is so delicious. I think it was quiche (and they even make veggie versions of everything!) and some sweet little berry studded creation.
Best part though, is the feel of it: Magical.
I’d visit again in an instant.

Beautiful B&B! Even my husband thought the place was gorgeous and ao relaxing. The staff was very kind and went out of their way to be helpful. The cookies were amazing and the breakfast was great! We highly recommend you check this place out of you ever venture to La Conner.

We would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that the hot tub water was barely warm.
One night stay with my wife in one of the King Suites.
Bed was heavenly — very comfortable and we both slept soundly.
Breakfast was hearty and served in a warm atmosphere. Great-​tasting coffee. Most of the couples we saw at breakfast appeared similar to us — in 40s and 50s.
There were scrumptious trail-​food-​like homemade cookies in the room when we arrived.
We ordered the red wine with cheese package. Red wine was good. Cheese was nothing special, but if you like cow cheeses you’ll enjoy it – and the serving was large. Grapes were delicious.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was beautiful, the innkeepers were so helpful, very personable. I have to say that the bed was extremely comfortable, often I don’t sleep well when I’m away from home but this bed was wonderful. The only thing that would have made our stay better would be to stay longer!

Stayed here this past weekend with my husband for our first overnighter without our son. Top notch. I have never been to a bed and breakfast but after some checking around, I decided that The Wild Iris would be better than a traditional Bed and Breakfast. From the time you arrive to the time you check out, the service is amazing. They really make you feel at home. We choose the room with the Spa tub inside and made great use of it. The rooms are decorated nicely and not overly done. Huge King size bed with tons of pillows. Flat screen TV, DVD player, and a CD player with classical music for you to enjoy. They really do give you the best warm cookies when you arrive and the Inn Keeper will gladly give you the recipe when you ask for it.
As everyone else said, Breakfast is two courses. Yogurt parfait and a bread, this time it was apple spice cake. Moist and Delicious. Second course was an egg dish. I am not big on eggs but it was really good. They also give you fresh OJ and coffee.
We will be back again!
