A+ Vision Optometry

I loved how friendly the staff and doctor was. I also loved that they had such a wide variety of kids frames to choose from. That is hard to find for the little ones.

I am new to SoCal and needed an Optometrist. Found this place while going to the dentist and decided to check it out on Unilocal.Also found out my neighbor has been coming here for 2 years and loves it. Very happy I found A+. Everyone did a great job. Dr Monique is super nice and does a great job answering questions. Nice staff & efficient. Very short wait. Nice frames on hand as well. I will remain a patient here and set up appointments for my kids. Definitely recommend!

I have strabismus (my eyes each see at different levels vertically) and a macular pucker (scarring over my retina caused by age related pulling of vitreous away from the retina). As of the last three years, I can no longer wear contact lens and I have prisms in my glasses to adjust for strabismus. I found A+ Vision Optometry on Unilocal after researching on Google search engine and I found wonderful reviews. I checked out her website to learn more about her and I was pleasantly surprised to read about her background and enthusiasm for helping patients to see better. She even finds time to teach students at schools of Optometry.
I made an appointment to see her and the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. I wasn’t expecting to learn much more about my eye condition but Dr. Nguyen was full of information about possible causes of and the way to proceed based on my particular case. A+ Vision Optometry has reasonable prices, accepts CareCredit financing which now offers a VSP discount and savings pass for people without vision insurance, and has a wonderful Optician in addition to the doctor and receptionist. I’m so happy I found office!

Took awhile to get my glasses but well worth the wait. Jessica (I think) and the Doc are great and certainly know how to get you into the correct pair of glasses for your individual needs. Couldn’t stand to wear glasses for the past few years but it turns out I just had poorly set up glasses from LensCrafters. Love my new ones! Highly recommend!

Dr. Nguyen and staff are all incredibly nice and accommodating! They are super friendly and so easy get along with! They made me feel like they have known me for years even though it was my first visit. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Nguyen is awesome. She is great with kids. The support staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Nguyen and staff were superb and informative. My daughter had her very first optometrist visit today and she really enjoyed getting get eyes examined. I also had my eyes checked and all my questions were answered and I look forward to getting my glasses.
Although this office felt very child center; the glass frames were plenty for adults to choose from. I look forward to making this my family’s annual optometrist.

Monique, is very sweet! Every time I go for an appointment at her office it feels like I’m visiting a good friend. She and her staff are the best and very professional. I take my whole family there and we all love her. So if you are looking for the very best optometrist for yourself or your family, in my opinion you can’t go wrong in choosing A+ Vision Optometry. My husband and I both work M-​F, so I was thrilled when I found a local optometrist that was open on Saturdays! We scheduled back-​to-​back appointments so we could knock them both out and continue on with our day.
The entire staff (including Dr. Nguyen) was exceptionally friendly, chatty and helpful. Dr. Nguyen was, hands down, the most thorough optometrist I’ve ever had. For example– I’m 29 years old, have an astigmatism in one eye, am nearsighted and have blue eyes. She gently scolded me for not wearing sunglasses regularly. None of my other eye doctors had even cared what I did once I left their office. So, this was actually a very welcomed scolding, because I know I need to. :P
Everyone at A+ Vision Optometry does everything they can to make you feel comfortable and at ease. They also like to joke around, and it makes for a really pleasant overall experience.
Anyways, if you’re looking for an all-​around great experience while getting your routine eye care exams… this is the place!

I have continued to go here for about 4 years. Dr. Nguyen continues to be a very thorough doctor. She is very personable. For reference sake I drive approximately 40 miles to see her when I know there are many options much closer. She is that good!

I took my 4yr old son in for an eye exam, after his pediatrician recommending I have his vision checked. I called and got a same-​day appointment. As a mom, toting my three kids with me, I was extremely thankful for hardly any wait time (we were seen almost immediately after arriving). Everyone from the receptionist, to the assistant, to the intern, to Dr. Nguyen were amazing! Dr. Nguyen made my son (and myself) feel so at-​ease and our experience here, was great!

I called last minute this morning to make an appointment, hoping they could accommodate me. To my surprise, they had an available appointment just a few hours later. Dr. Nguyen, Blanca and her intern, Angelica, were all great. I was warmly welcomed upon entering and the office itself is clean and updated.
Blanca was very efficient with all the paperwork and there was next to zero waiting. I recommend this office to anybody. I have been to offices in the past where I felt like they were just looking at you as a $$ sign. Here, it was completely different. You can feel how genuine Dr. Nguyen is and how much she cares about her practice. She listened while she answered questions and gave me honest, real answers. She informed me about issues and how to prevent them as well as made very valid recommendations. I believe I have found my new optometrist!

Dr. Nguyen was great. I had a very thorough exam that was easy going. It was my first eye exam ever and I felt the care was very personable and informative. There was not much of a wait and Blanca in the front was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone in the area.
Even though I need some correction for one eye, Dr. Nguyen realized I was more comfortable without any correction and recommended I avoid it. I appreciated her honesty and expertise. Thanks!

Dr. Nguyen is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced optometrist. She’s kind, patient and funny. She always has a warm welcome and makes me feel comfortable when examining my eyes. She also has extensive training with pediatric optometry and vision therapy. Her staff, as well as herself is very caring and friendly. I enjoy coming here because of the positive atmosphere. It’s always a pleasure to come in for a visit to see Dr. Nguyen and staff.

Very friendly office. I’m a quad, so getting my chair into offices for an exam has been difficult. Dr. Nguyen was so calm and helpful. Knowledgable and caring experience!

Went in for a eye exam. Told the Dr. About what my contacts type is and what my vision has been in the past. I just needed a check up so I could order new contacts. With my vision insurance I have never paid more than $ 40 for a check up. After leaving the exam room I was told I have to pay $ 140 because of my contacts type. This was never explained until after leaving the exam room, even when I showed and told her what my previous prescriptions were. Leaving me no choice but to pay the way over priced $ 140.
