OC Pro Electric

I called for an appointment with OC Pro and they were able to come out to my house in a couple of days. Mark called me to let me know he was on his way 15 minutes before the scheduled time which was great as I had to commute from Irvine to Ladera Ranch to meet him. Once there, he was able to quickly give me an estimate which was below what we expected to pay. We had removed a pendant light over our kitchen island and needed to remove the live wires in the hole. Mark was able to easily remove the wire box and reconnect the other 2 pendant lights remaining over the island. He was done in under 2 hours and cleaned everything up as if he was never there. I would definitely recommend OC Pro and will use them for future needs as well.

This is the worst experience I’ve had with a home professional!!! I called OC Pro Electric for a free estimate (which is advertised on their website) and was shocked to be handed a bill for almost $ 200. When I called to address the issue, nobody returned my call. I called back a week later and left another message with the office secretary. Both Jim, the owner, and the electrician who came to our house denied the fact that I asked for a free estimate. The electrician stated that he came to my house for a service call which is not what I schedule the appointment for. Jim refused to take responsibility for his company’s mistake. Instead, he blamed me for being a poor client and not understanding the cost of labor or materials (no materials were used during the electrician’s visit). I thought this statement was incredibly rude and uncalled for, especially since I was being billed for a service I did not ask for or authorize. I was shocked to be treated so poorly by a company that has been reviewed so favorably. This was my first time using OC Pro Electric, and based on this experience, I have no desire to work with them or Jim again!

Just had a wonderful experience with OC Pro Electric. Devin and Brian. Spoke with Jim when I called in and was pleasantly surprised to know he could send someone today. I had some handyman work done on Sunday which left me with some electrical not working. Within 40 minutes I was ‘up and running’ again. Definitely recommend OC Pro Electric.

Our main breaker wouldn’t reset after having been manually flipped. It was a Sunday, over 100 degrees outside, and we couldn’t really wait until Monday to have someone come out.
We’re new to the area so we didn’t have an electrician yet. After a quick Unilocal search I came across OC Pro Electric.
Jim came within the hour, pulled the breaker out of the box, whacked it a couple of times on the tailgate of his truck, plugged the breaker back in, and reset it. :)
10 minutes, $ 165.00.
Expensive lesson but I was happy to have the power back on!

Great service! Called on Wednesday and they showed up that day. Work was done to perfection and no mess left for me to clean up. Highly professional, friendly and reasonable prices. Thanks for doing a great job, Jim!

Outstanding service and fair prices. Jim repaired a ongoing problem that 2 previous companies couldn’t correctly repair. I will be using OC Pro Electric for all my future needs.

I’ve used OC-​Pro electric for a few major jobs at our home. Most of the jobs we requested, were turned Down by other companies due to difficulty. OC Pro Electric completed all the work requested without hesitation and was extremely professional with all aspects of their work. The owner Jim really takes pride in his business and makes sure that the job is completed correctly and the customer is satisfied. For a headache free experience, I would suggest going with OC Pro!

I am very fortunate to have heard about OC Professional Electric from a friend who had some work done. I needed a couple of large screen TV’s installed and hooked up properly, some high dollar ceiling fans installed properly and several overhead (canned) lights installed professionally. The work was done immaculately and professionally. My wife was extremely happy with the outcome (so I am, happy with Jim and OC Pro). I am in the construction business and know the benefits of good workmanship. OC Professional now has a customer for life. Good and reliable electricians are hard to come by. I am very fortunate to have found this one. Anyone have a plumber?

I needed a few fans installed in my house but didn’t want to deal with the headache. I called OC Professional Electric on a recommendation and I am glad that I did! Great work and very time effective. Jim was a pleasure to work with and now has me as a lifetime customer!
