Southern Green Turf Care

I would never recommend Southern Green Turf Care. First I was GUARANTEED over and over by the sales guy my grass (new sod) would get crab grass all over come spring. So I signed up since it seemed like a great deal. Grass was treated three days later which I was happy about, but my neighbor said they treated my yard in less than 5 minutes… Decent size yard. Few weeks later weather got warmer and crab grass took a hold of my yard. I had to call back over and over to get them to retreat and the issue never went away. Finally after telling them how completely unsatisfied I was they sent someone out who slowly was able to handle the problem. Only issue was my grass never turned dark green but was very blotchy (light green, dead spots, dark green). My year contract is nearly up and I will never recommend this company or resign with them. I am working on submitting a request to BBB since they refuse to put me in touch with a manager and refund my money. Check BBB and you will see they have many complaints against their services.

We purchased the year service provided by Southern Green in September and have been pretty satisfied with their service. They come out every two to three months to spray the grass against fire ants and fleas while helping the grass get greener than the neighbors :) It wasn’t until today’s service that I realized how awesome their employee’s are. Since I was home during the time they sprayed the grass I was able to talk to Brett, a technician, about the gates to our fence being locked and where a ant hill had sprung up in our yard. I saw him spraying the back yard as I watched TV with my two dogs. I was walking past our sliding glass doors to the back patio when I saw that he had picked up every single dog toy that was scattered around our back yard so the little pellets they sprayed wouldn’t get on them. I just wanted to write something on them for their outstanding service!
