Just got home from bamboo bistro. Had the orange beef which was just delicious. My friend had the basil beef and she loved it as well. I ordered the lo mein for an extra dollar 50 instead of rice and now I have dinner for tomorrow. Very large portions. Our server was new at it was also delightful.

Sadly this place lacks consistency. We went there on Sunday and it was really good. We decided to go today(Wednesday) for a quick lunch from their lunch specials menu since we were in the area. They definitely disappointed me. The miso soup(which I had last time and loved) was completely different than last time and overly salty with no bits of tofu and barely any scallions in there, it was like a salty miso broth and not good at all. I barely had any of it. I had the sushi and sashimi combo, it was a good amount of fish and sushi however the fish wasn’t as cold as I would like and the rice was very dry and kind of crusty. Obviously they don’t try to impress their lunch patrons. My husband had the hot and sour soup which he said was ok(just ok not great) and the chicken teriyaki bento box, the rice was dry and the sauce the chicken was in was good. The rest was barely average. I complained about the soup to the waiter at the end of our meal and he gave me very lame little«sorry about that» and didn’t bring the manager(like would happen in some restaurants/maybe there wasn’t even a manager there which would explain the lack of regard towards the quality of what is being put out there) and didn’t take a small percentage off our bill, like would be customary in the event that a customer is barely able to eat something because it isn’t appetizing. Either way I don’t think we will be rushing back to this place any time soon. If you still decide to go, I recommend you go during the weekend, the manager is probably there then and the staff puts out better quality food.

Been coming here a long time now. I can certainly recommend this place. Their expanded menu is quite good. Sushi specials are, for the most part, excellent. Sizzling dishes very good. Every time there weren’t great service. The owner often stops by our table, greets us and welcomes us back to her establishment. A very nice person. Love their appetizers and soups. Don’t forget, they also take reservations!!! UPDATE: Well, they finally reached 5 stars for me. I would have to say that the 5 stars is not easy to get from me. Truly there are 5 star restaurants around the country that are better BUT, that type of 5 star restaurant is in a class by themselves. Here, the 5 stars comes from an evaluation of the complete package — a great owner with great food at reasonable prices in a nice restaurant with excellent service personnel. What more could one ask for? Oh yes, and they take reservations — always.

The food is excellent. We are from New York and very particular on our Chinese food. They definitely didn’t disappoint. My cousin was sure we would have some complaint but much to his dismay, we loved it! The atmosphere is perfect, very comfortable and the staff was very attentive. The were short staffed, but they did everything they could to keep up with all of the customers. They kept us all happy. I would return again tomorrow! Delicious.

Relaxing Sunday evening dinner, first time diners. Tried a little bit of everything. The rock ‘n’ roll roll is definitely a must-have! Tuna avocado salad is amazing as well. Service was prompt and attentive. We will definitely be back!

The waitress was very nice and helpful. The décor and the restaurant in general was also very lovely and clean. We ordered the halloween sushi special dish which wasn’t great but then we tried the fried sushi which was really good, would recommend!

Was seated prommptly, the restaurant was empty. Should have took that as a sign. I asked the waiter if they had Tom Young soup? He said he didn’t know what that was. Another sign. Should have left at the point. My husband ordered spicy tuna sushi and Boston roll. The tuna was bland and so was the Boston roll. I had the phở, the meat was extremely tough the phở was cold. The phở was so cold my herbs couldn’t steep. We won’t be back here.

This truly is as good as it gets! Excellent food, great prices, and good service. Food is flavorful and portions are big enough. I had the lunch wok special with beef. My wife had a bento box along with our middle child. Our youngest had the Phở and could not finish it because of the amount they gave her. We were pleasantly surprised by the dessert menu. We split a tempura banana split and a fried ice cream. The fried ice cream is like nothing else I have ever had. We were expecting ice cream coated in cornflakes or a tortilla like other places do. Not here, it is out of this world! Ice cream surrounded by pound cake then battered and deep fried with whipped cream and chocolate syrup! This place is a must if you are a local or just passing through.

Lots of great variety for asian food. The owner Jenn is always there and treats you as if you are her best customer. Not usually as busy as the restaurants in the town square.

I eat here more than I eat at home. While the front desk staff turns over often, the servers have been here for a while and remember favorite orders, are well-acquainted with the menu and are very helpful. The sushi is all we’ve ordered here. Again & again. But most tables have many other entrees on them that I’ve never ordered. I hear great things from the other patrons, and I see many of them repeat their visits like I do, so obviously their entrees are great as well.

Ordered Phở. Does not taste anything like Vietnamese phở. Bean sprouts basil and mint were very old lifeless and bad. Waitress rude. Not coming back.

Came to Lady Lake to visit family. The town bores me like no other and everyone wanted to go out to eat. I wasn’t expecting much because I find the food options here pretty limited. We’re Asian and what other restaurants does my family feel like going to? So we went here. Food was mediocre. I’d rather drive an hour to Orlando to go eat than to eat here.

Very good overall dining experience. Our party had the Mongolian beef, sweet and sour shrimp, and chicken pad Thai. Would recommend all three entrees. Edamame was excellent.
