I came here for breakfast with a group and was really impressed. First, I thought it was weird that we were coming to a sushi place for breakfast, but don’t let that dissuade you! This restaurant is really great for brunch food! We had about 20 people and we were seated together easily. The waitresses were awesome, splitting the check way too many times for almost every individual. The food itself was spectacular. Whether we had eggs, various meats like steak, sausage or bacon, or hashbrowns… or just coffee, the service was excellent and the food was cooked spot on. What an incredible find. However, apparently other people have caught on because the parking lot was jam packed when we left. Literally there were no spots available. I think there is overflow just around the corner and it’s totally worth it to use it, because this place is awesome!

Since I moved back to the area I have been to 95A a few times and I have ALWAYS had a really nice time. I have been in for happy hour, burgers, drinks and sushi on several occasions and have always been greeted warmly by nice competent staff, treated to good eats, and left with a fuzzy feeling. While all the food has always been good, it is the sushi that really stands out. If you are ever hungry and in the area, I would definately suggest stopping in to 95A

Delicious. Can’t go wrong with the gyoza tapa. Or the burger. Or the fries. Overall great place to be. Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere.

I just went here maybe 2 months ago and I realized this place is literally a fusion of the Med and Happa. They serve almost exactly the same dishes and sushi rolls. It’s exceptionally good. I highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back. Would be great for big groups or special occasions. Try to go during happy hour for deals on tapas and sushi.

This place goes through enough menu and management changes that it probably warrants a re-review every year or so! But I’m upping my review a star based on December 2015 meal, based on outstanding dishes such as Korean BBQ ribs tapas – they REALLY should serve those as a Main!); they also significantly improved their Brussels Sprouts tapas and the Chicken Saltimbocca main was above average as well. If you don’t like the Indian Peaks clientele vibe, don’t go, but you know what you’re in for at that location.

We ave been dining here since it opened and the food quality has continued to decline. A careful selection of tapas is the best chance for some decent food but the entrees, especially any steak dish are just bad. I had the Steak Frites, supposedly a NY strip, steamed vegetables and some fries. The vegetables were soggy and looked like they had sat in a buffet-style steamer for an hour waiting for somebody to scoop them up. The NY Strip was requested medium rare and arrived barely warm, cooked medium and was only of an inch thick. It had no flavor so apparently they did not even apply salt and pepper prior to cooking it. Also, the service was extremely rushed so we felt they are more focused on turning over tables as quickly as possible versus a pleasant dining experience. Fortunately in the time they have opened and the food quality has decreased, there are a number of better restaurants that have opened in Louisville, Erie and Niwot that we will frequent more often

They have changed the steak frites back to a New York strip and it’s fantastic! Anything here made with a potato or potato product is the best. Mashed, fries, or breakfast fries are amazing. And they have the best brunch in Boulder county on the weekend.

Blah. How would you like a lukewarm ¼ inch steak for $ 17. How about a tapa portion with prices the prices of an appetizer? I really wish this place would step it up! I should say the atmosphere is comfortable, noise level is low, patio and staff rock. Most of all it’s the closest of very few restaurants near my house.

Sorry to give this local establishment two stars but it was such an epic fail that I can’t give it more. The only reason for the second star is the beautiful restaurant and outdoor patio. It’s hard to believe that so much effort went into the décor with so little focus on the food and service. Our waiter appeared to be on a heavy dose of Xanax. No personality and he mumbled. The food was such a disappointment. We started with the shrimp cocktail appetizer with a wasabi dipping sauce. I’ve never seen such small shrimp for a shrimp cocktail. Plus, they were tasteless, probably thawed under running water for hours. The Wasabi dipping sauce was a green liquid that tasted like dishwater. A regular menu item, the risotto with scallops was worse than something out of a can. The scallops were not seared. They were a mushy mess. And the risotto… I have never had worse! A soupy gooey clumpy mess in a cloyingly sweet Grand Marnier sauce with what I think was supposed to be fennel but tasted and had the texture of tree bark. My wife had the trout almandine. Someone forgot to season the fish because it too was tasteless. Just a little salt would’ve helped. And, how do you screw up green beans? They were almost raw with absolutely nothing on them, no butter no seasoning nothing. It says on their website The owners are alumni of the Med in Boulder. They should bring some of the chefs over from the Med to help the kitchen staff learn how to cook. Sorry guys but this was downright awful.

Really like this place! We’d go more if it wasn’t so darn popular and hard to get in to! Great tapas, good drink specials on select days and great atmosphere and service. It’s becoming one of our go-to places for dinner.

If you’d like tapas similar to The Med but not the drive, this is the place. They’ve got good sushi too, as well as a great coin margarita. They have an outdoor patio that I’m looking forward to trying as the weather gets nicer.

My mom and sister-in-law were at a nearby salon getting pedicures and were given this place as a recommendation by our nail techs. These girls made it sound like a guaranteed great lunch. So much so, I didn’t even check Unilocal for anything else in the area! When I checked in, I got an offer for a free $ 5 Tapa order. I showed this offer to our server, and she wanted to take my phone to her manager(?). I instead suggested she have the manager stop by our table. Apparently he didn’t need to and we were told that offer would be accepted. We picked the shishito peppers, they were delicious! Very well cooked and flavorful! For an entrée, I chose the Maguro sashimi. Thick slices of tuna were served over shredded carrots. It tasted pretty fresh, and was well presented. My mom’s seared tuna looked good as well. Our table by the window was a bit drafty, but if you bring a sweater you’ll be fine. When our bill came, the peppers were still on it. Our server had it taken off as soon as we reminded her to. The food was fantastic! Although our server was not bad, I think service could have been a little smoother.

This place has an identity crisis. It’s an Italian/Sushi restaurant that serves cuisine ranging from pasta carbonara to a full sushi menu. I feel it would better serve their customers if they chose one and focused on good quality food instead of mediocre food across both cuisines. They don’t really match, anyway. We tried the calamari and onion rings, which were nothing special. Edamame was served stone cold, which was unappealing. Jalapeño hamachi was delicious, as was all the fresh sushi fish we had. However, my main complaint with the sushi menu was the rice, which was the wrong texture and lacked any kind of seasoning. Any sushi chef knows that sushi rice should be sticky, and seasoned with rice vinegar, sugar and salt. The duo of crème brûlée was okay, mediocre execution, probably since it’s not made in house. Overall, I wish they would pick a cuisine and execute really well!

Although we all wish that 100% of our dining experiences would be perfect, we know that’s not always the case. How a place handles a problem often goes a long way to determining if you’d ever want to come back. We were there for a recent business lunch. First we showed up at 11:15 and the front door was locked. Odd considering the restaurant opens at 11:00 but ok. Server seemed to understand we were having a business lunch so he gave us the proper attention — ya know, gave us time to finish a conversation before asking for our order. So that’s good. We ordered tapas, sushi, and a salad. Tapas came quite quickly. Salad came quite quickly. Sushi… well…well…well…well…an hour into our lunch we finally asked«um, the sushi?» I’m not sure whether or not the server missed the order or the kitchen missed the order, or what. 20 min later we finally got an update — yes the sushi is on the way. 10 min later it was there… one of our party had to leave for 15 min so it got to sit for a while. The funny thing is when the member of our party returned we decided to order a California roll which beamed itself to our table in a nanosecond. Server finally offered to comp dessert… um, how many business lunches end in dessert? Where was the manager you might ask? A great question. Nowhere to be found. Normally a good/experienced manager is on top of this problem. Maybe even comps the sushi? Never happened. Tapas were OK. Nothing bad, but nothing great. I didn’t have the sushi, but others said it was good. This place could be good. Nice patio, nice open location, big place. But right now it is underwhelming.

I was not impressed with the food or the service at 95a. We went on a busy Saturday evening and I felt like the service at the bar was not good at all. The bar tender was quite rude to our party. I was pleased when our appetizers came and they were quite tasty. When we were finally seated I thought we would get our food pretty fast if we ordered right away but that didn’t happen. I ordered a sushi roll and it was ok. Our waiter was trying so hard to make everyone happy, but the amount of time it took for our food to get there was upsetting. The atmosphere is really great and I wish the food and service had been a little better. Not sure that we will return.

It’s a nice neighborhood restaurant, with a patio and a huge menu. Service is very friendly and the food is quite good(but not exceptional). I love the fact that they have sushi, small plates as well as regular entrees, everybody should find something they like. A good place to go with friends since it’s fairly big(but make reservations, the place is popular) or when you don’t feel like cooking.
