What a great shop! We stopped in Lafeyette on our road trip because we needed a break. While we were on our trip I’d been hoping to find a unique gift for someone but was unable to. However, I found lots of great options here, as well as many things I wanted for myself. The artists who were working at the time were very friendly and we thought that the prices on everything were very reasonable. I don’t live nearby, so it’s not somewhere I can shop regularly, but I hope to be able to stop in again some time.

I picked up a few intricately painted ornaments for my coworkers and boss that were not too pricy, especially in consideration of their uniqueness and the time/​effort the artist (Janet Fox Elmore) put into them. The artists on hand were friendly, and directed me to displays that may interest me. Not every item in the gallery was to my taste, but it was great to see a place dedicated to local artists and cooperatively run. There was a lot of empty space, where additional artists could potentially set-​up shop. A great place to find locally made, non-​run-​of-​the-​mill items on Lafayette’s charming main street… and the ornaments were loved by my coworkers.

Ann Arbor, MI
Very nice gallery — especially, a good place to find the work of local potter Scott Frankenberger. Along this stretch of Main Street, you’ll find several little boutiques and galleries of varying quality. This is the best.
