Cypress Square Apartments

I like my apartment, for the most part, location is excellent. I wish management would pay attention to what is going on here on the weekends.. .tonight my neighbors are having a party… bounce house and tent out back. .so close to my patio I should be the one havin the party! Loud mouths out front and kids squealing in the back. It is 11pm and I have to work in the morning! I left and came back to no place to park! GRRRRRR!

I am not one to leave reviews, particularly unfavorable reviews. I moved here in 2011 and moved out just this year. The owner, Mr. Harlan is rude and made racist remarks to me during our one and only interaction in my three years of living there. After this incident I was motivated to purchase a home and end my lease. They nickel and dimed me after I moved out, however I happily paid them in order to have this ordeal behind me. I do not recommend you rent from these people as they truly do not know the meaning of customer service and will even get angered by any requests you may have.

When I began living here in April 2014 I loved it! My apartment was newly updated and it was the perfect size, price, and location. It was always quite, the office manager was super understanding about my insane schedule as a veterinary student and would deliver packages from the office to my door! They always let us know when maintenance was coming and she tried to do fun things with the residents. About Christmas time of 2014, they changed office managers. Since then it has been terrible! The office is barely even open anymore unless you make an appointment and if you try doing that the guy you get a hold of is super rude! He never lets you finish a sentence, cuts you off, could care less about your schedule or needs. I don’t know why they got rid of Angela, but she was the only saving grace of that complex. I used to recommend the place to all of the incoming vet students that I know, and now I warn them to stay away. Two of the people I recommended now live there, and they could careless about a resident referring other people. Apparently they don’t believe in word of mouth advertising which makes sense cause they don’t care about the happiness of their tenants! All of the people I know who still have leases there are not happy!

Since the management has change we have been seeing some positive and easing changes. We feel very safe here and feel that the leasing office is communicating more often with us regarding changes being done, service announcements, and packages being dropped off. Very excited to call this place home.
