HotBox Pizza

Pizza is good, but have had several issues here. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Everytime I have, I have been overcharged. This has been brought up to the stores attention yet they haven’t fixed it, they say it’s something wrong in the computer system. It happened one time and I called in when the delivery guy left and I noticed I had paid what the price said online, however the receipt was like $ 8 cheaper. So the delivery kid must’ve thought he was getting a $ 13 tip. I called to get it straightened out and it was a nightmare. The manager on duty could not understand how to fix it. (Just put the overpayment as a credit on the account! Jeez) I ordered quite a bit of months later online and had added they place the credit on the order. This was done, however when the manager recapped the order again there were issues from the order I placed online. It was fixed. Because it was fixed, and we ordered (via phone and picked up) last night and it seemed to go smoothly I’m giving it 3 stars. Place still needs work and I might bump it up another star.

I really like this place. There original crust is good and love the different ingredients for veggies. There thin crust is like cardboard so wouldn’t recommend that. I always get my pizza hot and delicious. Compared to other pizza places in the neighborhood it’s good.

Have been a Hotbox fan since they opened (West Lafayette). Have eaten the breadsticks for 20 years (when they were linked with Pizza Express). However, the service at the Lafayette store is horrible.
This store particularly is way too small, and poorly laid out.
On several occasions it has taken way too long to get pizza and the staff is not very knowledgeable. Even the manager tonight was clueless as to what was going on. Ill drive out of my way to the West Lafayette store to get my breadsticks and cool plastic cups.

We got food poisoning from the pizza. We ordered at 10:30 pm last Tuesday and by 4:00 am my husband and I woke up feeling really sick. We became violently ill. We have been sick for 2 days now. I can’t believe we paid 25 dollars to get sick like this. We will never set s foot in this place ever again.

Pizza is very good but service here is pretty slow. I’ve come in here twice with a carry out order. The first time I sat around waiting for 30 minutes before I asked. My order was already ready for who knows how long, just sitting on the shelf with the delivery orders… The second time I waited for about 45 minutes for only a large pizza. No one that worked there even gave me a status update. This was mid-​afternoon and there was only 4 other people in the store. Other pizza place will DELIVER in that amount of time. Not impressed.
