I Do Drystyle

My hair turned out okay. I wanted a messy up-​do, low and below the crown of my head, and with lots of volume. I understand I have blond, fine hair so making it look super big is a challenge. But what I was left with was a small collection of hair at the nape of my neck with no volume. The front was also kind-​of meh. Everyone else in the store looked amazing and it was a really fun atmosphere. I will try them again.

I Do DryStyle gives me that bounce in my step! I have been here multiple times with multiple stylists and always walk away loving my hair and amazed at the difference a talented professional can make. They are consistent, creative and a pleasure to work with.

Sometimes your having a good day and sometimes your having a good hair day and the day you get lucky and have Tamara do your do, you will have both! My hair has some natural curl or should I say frizz and it is hard to tame it without making it look too flat or over conditioned. Also it seems to take other hair salons forever to deal with my hair even though it is not particularly thick. However, Tamara the tamer was able to get me shampooed, situated and looking amazing it less than an hour. I am sure the other gals are good too but I would definitely have her (you can’t miss her; she has lovely red hair and a personality to match) be your lock smith.

I had my wedding this Sunday. The level of professionalism and talent Taylor shows, is superb. I had my makeup done by her MUA Tylar who also blew me away. Their talent is unmatched and the compliments I received made my special day that much better. Thank you ladies for making me feel beautiful Nikki

Wonderful experience. My mom has been several times and has loved her results. It was my first time coming in and I was booked with Shauna. She is extremely friendly, professional, educated and sweet. She showed me a special way to curl my hair after I showed her a picture of what I like. And being a makeup artist she gave me some great tips. I highly recommend her! Plus this place is absolutely beautiful and everyone is very nice :)

I came in with a photo and Allie was able to replicate the exact look I wanted! I’ve been back several more times and there’s never been a miss. From updo’s to just a simple blow out I’ve finally found my place! Make an appointment on line and you will be set to go. Everyone here is incredibly sweet and kind. Total professionals.

This review is for Taylor at I Do Drystyle. She is amazing. She and Tamara (who is also amazing) recently did my hair for my wedding and killed it! They showed up 10 minutes early (we are talking 8AM here in SF) and knocked out my bridal party in no time. They made sure my bridesmaid’s hair complimented mine and their hair turned out flawlessly. I was so happy with the way my hair turned out and I had a very different kind of style; Taylor made sure it was flawless. Aside from my actual wedding day, I had my trial with Taylor in her gorgeous Lafayette studio and she was so gracious and attentive to the look I was after. She then contacted me after my wedding to see how everything went and to ensure we were all happy with our hair. Classic. I adore Taylor and Tamara and anyone would be so lucky to have either one beautify them! Thanks ladies– you guys are the best!

BEST BLOWOUT I’VE EVER HAD! The staff here is so nice and their products are top notch! The entire experience is amazing, from the relaxing shampoo, to the light and bouncy finished product! This is my go to spot for an event or if I don’t want to do my own hair :)

Two words for these ladies… HEAVEN SENT!!! This was my second attempt at finding a day of stylist, the other salon left me uninspired and a little panicked. I arrived for a wedding hair and make up trial with not much to offer Angel (hair) and Shauna (make up) in terms of what I was looking for. After a few questions from them they made a few suggestions and I, literally, let them do whatever they wanted. It was PERFECT!!! My hair is stick straight and a little thin and Angel made it look thick and elegant… plus it stayed put all night!!! Shauna did an amazing job with make up, I was thrilled with the results and immediately booked them for the day of.
The ladies showed up at the venue on time and ready to go. They even brought a Starbucks for me, so thoughtful! My hair and make up looked exactly as it did at the trial. They also did my MOH and flower girl. They looked incredible!!!
I would not hesitate to recommend these ladies for any special event. They are as sweet and personable (everyone loved them!)as they are talented/​professional.

I’m happy for all those customers whose hair turned out beautiful and lasted. Sadly, I was very disappointed with mine on my wedding day. The curls did not last at all… Eventhough, I did not let it dampen the most beautiful day in my life.
I’ve talked to Taylor and all and she apologized.
I used extensions which she recommended. I don’t know exactly what went wrong as she’s the professional in hair, not I.
I’m thinking a blow dry at the bar is their specialty. Weddings styles may be more challenging.
With that said, the level of customer service was outstanding and she’s very reasonable and accommodating. If you use her for your wedding make sure to cover all points, whichever those are.

I absolutely love I Do Drystyle! I had never tried a blow dry bar before and thought I would give this place a shot. Ok, I don’t care about what anyone says on these reviews about this salon… my blowout stayed for 2 days– yes, 2 days! I don’t know if it was just timing and I was ready for a good hair day or what, but my hair turned out great. Tyler does a wonderful job and I love that no matter who you get, they will listen to your needs and make it happen.
The staff overall is super nice, charming and welcoming. II would totally recommend this place :o)

This review is actually sad to write cause the girls who attended my group and I were nice, or at least had great PR skills (which is why they get two stars). Unfortunately that’s not enough. The trial run went well. But on the day of the wedding it turned out to be way less than expected. The hair style for all the girls including the bride was curls on one side, see picture. When one of Taylor’s staff showed me the final result I was disappointed of how it looked. I didn’t want to make the mood tense so I kept quite, cause the day was about the bride. Once a majority of the girls had their hair «done» I noticed I was not the only one who did not have their hair done right. The mistake made: not enough hair spray!!! We didn’t make it out of the brides house with nicely done hair cause by that time the «curls» started to straighten out… At the ceremony they were practically gone. And at the end of the night… Nothing. $ 125 for what?!? The price of disappointment and frustrating for getting your hair done by «I Do Drystyle» staff. Next time Taylor, during a trial run, show the girls what you really do.

Very pretty salon and loved that I could book online. I hate calling and going back/​forth endlessly on times with my limited schedule. Anastasia did a great job on my blowout and I’m thrilled how long it lasted. I’ve got dry, thick hair that likes to frizz and it still looks smooth and under control days later. She was friendly and personable, which at most dry bars I’ve been to is a hard to find attribute. I’ll definitely book again with her.

Angel gave me a beautiful blow out for my cousin’s wedding. This is now my go to place for a blow out. I went to DryBar in LA a couple weeks later, and it was very poor — there is no comparison to the one I got at I Do. I can’t go anywhere else now.

What girl doesn’t love getting a blow out! This new salon in the heart of Lafayette is the ultimate girly girl dream! You can easily find parking (!!!), grab a coffee next door and then walk into a glamorous salon!
Was so happy to find they carry Kevin Murphy hair products– for any other girls who like all natural products!
The blow out was perfect, not too heavy on the product and lasted 2 days! One of the owners, Taylor, did my hair and I could not have been happier! They also do makeup, keeping that in mind for future reference!
Congrats to Taylor & Renee on opening the hottest spot in the East Bay for a blow out! You already have a loyal customer!
