Kalpana’s skills are amazing. My eyebrows hair is very fine and as I’ve gotten older, they’ve thinned out. I like my eyebrows high arch, somehow Kalpana threaded them to look very healthy, defined, cleaned and full, not sure how she does it. The first time to find her location was tricky but don’t give up, I walked around in circles til I found her location because she is amazing.
History with her: I used to go to her in the Oakland area, when she moved I lost hope and indeed had not found anyone else to thread them the way she does. Now that I know her location I will be returning every time.

I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else but here! For four whole years I stopped getting my eyebrows threaded because of bad experiences. It took me a year to grow them back. I was hesitant to get them done after so long, but Kalpana did never disappoints! I would drive from Hercules all the way to Lafayette just to see her.
She definitely works with you to maintain a thick and natural arch. Now I’m sad because I live and hour and a half away and I don’t trust anyone else but her.

Kalpana is the best! I visit her every 3 – 4 weeks for threading and she does an amazing job every time. She knows exactly how I like my eyebrows shaped. And she is incredibly nice and funny too. I’ve never had to wait longer than 5 minutes — she’s great at what she does and is extremely efficient. Do yourself a favor and visit Kalpana for your threading needs!

Best person for eyebrows!
I have horrible experiences with my eyebrows but kalpana is by far the best person to thread my eyebrows! First time I came to kalpana my eyebrows were a complete mess, and she fixed them to perfection. I will never go anywhere else!
Sweet and personable as well! Makes you feel comfortable and that your eyebrows are in good hands!

I love kalpana! She is amazing at eyebrows and she is so sweet! Only con about her shop was the last time I came in there was a receptionist who was a bit rude. He didn’t give me a new stamp card when I told him I didn’t have mine and didn’t give me a cash discount. This doesn’t reflect on kalpana! He was most likely new.

Kalpana is located in the back of the building, on the second floor. She is nice, quick, precise and provides good customer service. She first asks what you how you want your eyebrows done and from there does her magic. I liked my previous eyebrow shape, but she made them look even better. love her!
bring cash and you will get a discount (discounted price for students!!) also provides a punch card so on you 10th visit you get one free.

I’m so happy I found kalpana! I came in and my brows were a mess! She shaped them to perfection and didn’t leave not one single hair behind. I love that she is «no appointment needed»…Oh and yes! Her rose water is so amazingly refreshing!

Kalpana is the best! She always does an amazing job on my eyebrows and applies rose water at the end for a nice cooling sensation. She has a relaxing waiting area with huge TV, nice leather couch, and plenty of magazines. Make sure to bring cash, you don’t need it but there’s a discount when you do. She is gentle and works fast so you’re in and out. Great place if you’re in a hurry and you want someone to do an excellent job on your eyebrows!

I’m so grateful I found Kalpana. She is a skillful and precise threader. Her bubbly personality makes the experience better. I love the cool rose water she uses to soothe your skin afterwards.
Kalpana just moved to a new and bigger location! She has a separate reception area and a huge room where she does her magic!

I have been going to Kalpana for 4 years, she is amazing. I don’t trust anyone else with my brows. My brows are not easy to shape and she does an amazing job. I like to keep my brows full and don’t want to rely on makeup to make them look good. Kalpana listens and makes them look amazing every time!

Kalpana is a wonderful and funny woman. I go here every 2 or 3 weeks to get threaded. She is quick and gentle. My favorite part is at the end when she puts the rose water on… Love that. Since I have been going to her I do not wax anymore. This is so much better. Yes, it does hurt a bit, but you get use to it.

I’ve been threading my eyebrows for 20 years and Kalpana is one of the best that I’ve been to. And I’m excited she is in my backyard in in Lafayette. She has never cut me and she has a very tight stroke, which makes a difference in how much it hurts. I’d highly recommend Kalpana if you want perfectly sculpted eyebrows.

Kalpana knows brows! Seriously– she is like… brow master of the universe!
After enduring endless eyebrow-​hackings, I took a chance on another well reviewed Unilocal threading salon. You won’t walk out of her salon with stupid little skinny eyebrows (unless that’s your «thing»).
It’s her own shop– she has her fingers on the heartbeat of the place. She trains her people well. I recently brought my bf in for his first threading experience and he loved the result –he’s hooked!
Kalpana is a serious player on my «beauty team»!! I would happily recommend her to anyone in search of eyebrows that actually fit/​compliment their face.

Kalpana is amazing, she has shaped my eye browns to perfection. She is gentle, patient and very sweet. She also offers a punch card, after 10 eye brow threads you get one free. If that isn’t incentive to keep coming back, I don’t know what is!
Prices are good, I always find parking, and I can ride my bike here. It doesn’t get any better. Ever since I started coming here I stopped getting waxed.
I highly recommend her services, you won’t be disappointed!
