Check the store listing before you go– most stores tend to come and go. I’ve been coming here since I was kid especially to feed the ducks and get some great candy! The place really needs a facelift but is a beautiful place to spend the afternoon with the kids. It says they are a dog friendly place but I am unsure of that after being harassed today about my dog by one of the dog store owners for letting my dog use the bathroom by the dumpsters! It was cleaned up of corse but she needed to stare and tell me how to go about taking care of it. Really. Thanks.(Dogs gotta go when a dogs gotta go!) My family would have walked around with the pup but she totally turned my mood. Maybe I’ll try to go back later in the year on the other side of the village. Not sure where the dog friendly areas could be if not near the dog training school…

I have been shopping here since the late 80’s. Every time I go there there are less and less and less stores. Bass, Maidenform, Izod, and Van Heusen seem to do quite well. A couple restaurants. Antique stores come and go. Stop off when going to Walpack Inn, Stokes State Forest and Delaware National Area. Antiques are not too far away either.
