I just want to take a minute to Thank Dr. Roy. My son struggles with adhd and can be very difficult to sit still. Of course, he had three cavities that needed to be filled before a bigger problem occurred.
Thanks to Dr. Roy, we were able to try twice to fill his cavities. Dr. Roy was patient and understanding making sure to not leave my 5yr old with a negative experience. We had great success on the second attempt to fill the cavities WITHOUT physical restraint.
Thank you Dr. Roy from the bottom of my heart for your patience and understanding when most doctors would have just given up.

Dr. Roy is an excellent dentist! The staff is friendly, the office is clean and most importantly my kids love going to get their teeth cleaned. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment for your child. Dr. Roy is trustworthy and great with kids!

My children recently went to see Dr. Roy in Lafayette. Her first order of business was to build a rapport with my kids. Since she is the only dentist there, she will be seeing them every time they see the dentist. She asked them about school, activities and hobbies even before they opened their mouths. Then she was super gentle and warm during the exam, so even my little one (who had a bad dental experience in the past) was totally comfortable and even giggling. She took the time to explain and show me the x rays and to answer all my questions– I had a lot.
Her office is beautiful– calming colors, super fun toys and books in the waiting room (not that we had to wait long enough to play with them), and an open bay so parents (and siblings) can sit close by during the exam. There were all kinds of kid friendly perks like TVs above every exam chair and cake flavored toothpaste.
My kids left there with huge gleaming white smiles on their faces.

Dr. Roy is absolutely the best pediatric dentist. Period. She is so gentle and kind, she puts both children and nervous parents at ease. And she is incredibly knowledgeable, but this shouldn’t be a surprise because she trained at one of the best dental schools in the country. I won’t take my child to anyone else!
