Maria and I have worked together for about 2 years in the stylist industry. I would be her liaison, if you will, between the department store and her clients. Seeing maria in action was great. She is honest and forthright with her clients. She takes their colors into great account when choosing a wardrobe that is right for her client, and the end result is a new wardrobe that is functional and stylish and that brings out the clients best features. I see her clients leave happier and excited to put their best foot forward! I also love that Maria really listens to her clients and makes sure she takes much thought to only show them what will truly work for their body type and lifestyle. She will take photos at the end to ensure she can build on what they started the next time they shop together as well as to be able to create a virtual closet of options for her client!

I’ve worked with Maria a few times over the last year, initially doing a style consult and a color analysis, then hiring her again for a closet sweep and a make-​up overhaul. She’s fun to work with, takes detailed notes, and gives you follow-​up paperwork that you can reference re: your body shape or colors or outfits out of your own closet that she puts together. I love the purse-​sized color swatch book she provides; it’s so easy to take with me when I go shopping. A lot of what she taught me re: flattering clothing shapes, styles and colors reconfirmed what I knew via intuition, so it was fun to learn scientifically why and ingrain the reasons in my memory to help make me a smarter shopper moving forward. She’s very thoughtful in her emails, personalizing notes when she checks in. Her tips on brands that cater to tall people have been the most valuable for my 6 – 1 frame… from those, she’s introduced me to the best pair of jeans EVER (MiH if you must know)!

I did a color consultation and a shopping day with Maria last fall. I feel like I’m finally reaping the rewards of my time spent with Maria. My closet is so much better! I feel like now when I get dressed it is so much easier to create a new outfit because more pieces work together. I also really like my colors. It definitely takes time to build up a closet that you are happy about and I feel like I make fewer purchases that I end up not wearing. I know why certain things work better on me. Maria is very pleasant to work with and very professional. We went through my whole closet and I was worried she would be judgemental but she made me feel more confident and good about my clothes. I would recommend Maria to anyone who is trying to redefine their style and discover more of themselves. I had a great time!
