The compressor clutch was bad only car. It runs the belt for everything on my car. Option 1 was bypass for $ 125 and I would have no air conditioning. Option 2 replace the compressor and retain my air conditioning. I went with option 2 for $ 550. Now my ac barely blows cold air. They said replacement compressor was bad. Now after 2nd compressor it is barely cold. Their remedy is to charge me more money for a evaporator dryer. Yeah. My ac was fine before. Not now, but the compressor clutch works ! I could have just went the $ 125 route. Same result.
