Stopped by this coffee shop early afternoon on a Friday or Saturday after seeing all the great reviews. There was no one in there. I got a soy latte to go and it was a bit burnt tasting. I didn’t find anything special about this place but I would give the customer service 4⁄5. Taste: 2.5−3 Ambiance: 3(nothing special about décor) Customer service: 4

I stopped by here the other day for coffee and I got a double caramel macchiato. It was delicious and had a good amount of coffee flavor. The lady who took my order was really friendly. I agree with another one of the reviewer that the drink almost has the same standard like peets. If Im ever in town, I will stop by again.

I can’t believe I’ve driven past this café for years. I finally moseyed in and I’m glad I did. Yummy chai, cute atmosphere, & very clean! I’ll be coming back frequently!

Great little coffee and tea shop. My fiancée and I found this place(on Unilocal!Surprise.) after the Lafayette Library closed on a Friday and we needed a little more caffeine and a little more study time. The people at the register were beyond friendly, explaining the different backgrounds behind two green teas, smiling, and just genuinely conversating(yes, that’s a word, autocorrect!) with us while ringing us up. Nice clean tables to set up our laptops. Check. Free wifi(with a little sign that has the password — I hate when places are stingy with that). Check. Elevator/spa music in the background to focus. Check. Everything I like in a little study nook. Wish I could give ‘em a 6th star for the cool chocolate and honey products they also had for sale. And the nice big window to watch passers-by.

Good coffee, cute and clean coffee shop. I ordered a latte and it was delicious. Lots of froth, which I love. Great little hangout place.

This place continues to be my absolute favorite! I gave up coffee in January and that was when I discovered their chai lattes! They are to die for! They make their own homemade blend using fresh herbs and spices. It is so rich and flavorful, I don’t think I can ever go back to the powder or liquid mixes. I crave them almost everyday but have to restrain myself. :) The staff here is also still great, super friendly, fast and such consistency in the quality of their drinks!

Great café with good coffee in ceramic cups and a nice atmosphere to enjoy coffee and conversation. Staff is great, especially John and Molly who work in the mornings.

Not bad. Nice and clean. But nothing extrodinary in terms of their beverages. The barista was nice.

Definitely a hidden gem! Sister has been living in the area for years and we finally discovered this place. Thanks Unilocal! Charming coffee shop with enough seatings for 20 and a few outside on a nice day. Bonus is you can bring your lil ones for smoothies or bubble tea while enjoying your cup of coffee. I ordered my usual Capp and it was good but a bit too much on the milk end lacking strong espresso taste. They nailed the latte art. Only suggestion is to downgrade or start carrying a 5−8oz cup for those espresso taste lovers please! «Big cups will have the tendency to taste more like hot coffee flavoured milk». Also ordered a blueberry scone but it was really dry and missing the subtle sweetness. Other than that will come back and give this place another shot soon!

I ordered a latte with triple shot and it was watery. It’s a nice place, probably good for studying but the coffee is definitely not quality coffee.

Review #031 — 2016 While trying to figure out what we wanted to have for breakfast, we considered going to grab some caffeine at Starbucks first. But since my siblings don’t come spend a night at my place too often, I decided it would be good to grab our caffeine at a nearby café that I’ve had bookmarked for a while. My brother is not a very adventurous person when it comes to his coffee so he was afraid that he would be disappointed. However, I was able to convince him to step out of his comfort zone and head over to Panache. It was such a beautiful Saturday morning, lightly sprinkling and not too cold. We arrived at Panache at around 10:45 and it was pretty crowded. There was only one barista. We walked up to the counter and ordered our drinks and she was done in less than five minutes. There were a good number of customers who showed up right after us, so the barista started getting pretty busy. She actually did a good job considering how busy it got. Friendly and quick service, mellow environment, and good drinks… we will definitely be back.

Grading on a curve because it’s the only boba place in Lamorinda. I like that they offer almond milk and that they brew their chai tea fresh rather than using syrups or concentrate. It’s pricey for a 12 ounce drink, but the people are friendly and it’s the only game in town.

I’ve been going here ever since high school and it has always been my go-to coffee place. I usually get the iced coffee or iced latte, but sometimes I go for the Thai iced tea with boba. This place is never too crowded and is a great place to study or bring a laptop(free wifi with password) and get work done.

We’ve grown to love this cozy café over the years. The owner, manager and staff are fun, very neighborhood friendly and easy going. The customer base tends to share a similar vibe. Every age comes through the doors. Tables outside. Park puppy or your bike out front. — Free wifi for the device and laptop laden. — Summer time favorites? Bubble tea in a frappé/smoothie form… — Proper dairy alternatives too!

We came to Panache Caffe for breakfast on a Tuesday morning at about 7:30. It’s a cozy and comfortable little coffee shop with plenty of seating. I ordered hot chocolate and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The whipped cream art was a nice surprise, and the hot chocolate was delicious and served at just the right temperature — not piping hot but definitely not lukewarm either. Other breakfast items included scones, muffins, and some other pastries. The breakfast selection is a little lacking, but I guess that’s because this is mostly a coffee place. I’ll be back when I get a craving for another hot chocolate.

This coffee shop has been on my bookmarks for over 2 years, and I finally had the opportunity to try it. Panache is located in downtown Lafayette, close to a Trader Joe’s shopping center. It’s very cute with lots of seating, outlets, and wifi. I ordered a caramel vanilla macchiato while Annabelle P. had a mango green tea slush(no boba). It seems like latte art is the reason many people go, which is always a nice touch to a delicious drink. The macchiato was creamy with the perfect froth. I’ll definitely have to return to try more!

I came here for the latte art. Panache Caffe is the cutest little café in Lafayette. I ordered the Matcha Green Tea Latte and it was scrumptious. They have plenty of comfortable indoor seating, so you can stay as long as you want — great place to have a nice chat with an old friend. There is a parking lot designated to this establishment + others, but if that is full, your best bet is street. I hope to order something a little bit stronger the next time I visit!

This place is right near my apartment so I come here mainly for the convenience of the location and also their chocolate croissants! The first time I tried to order a chocolate croissant was on a Saturday and the young woman who was working told me that those are only available on weekdays. Before I went to pick up my significant other from the airport I stopped here to get my man a coffee, myself a chai tea latte and us both chocolate croissants. Aw man those croissants were so good! I wish I had ordered four instead of two. The chai tea latte was okay but I think a tad expensive for a single size. The customer service here is always great and I feel so welcomed which is refreshing. Single Coffee $ 2.00 Single Chai Tea Latte $ 3.20 Chocolate Croissant $ 2.29

Yes, yes, yes!!! How long have I searched for a spot that offer me a beautiful latte art with one of the most despised milk: almond milk! Lactose intolerant homies, I know you feel me. The tug of war between wanting a beautiful coffe to brighten your mood or… We shall not describe the other. Man, oh man did I have trouble finding this spot. My navigation has been taking me everywhere but where I need to go. Rawr. So, I thought it was in the plaza with the supermarket. No, it is not. It is in another small plaza next to a burrito shop I believe. You can park going into a narrow driveway to the parking lot in the back.(I am so sorry, I have no idea what the streets are, when I find out I’ll let you know. Clearly not from the neighborhood.) Once I made it inside. I walked into a bright beautiful café with warmth from the barista. I asked him if he could make my almond milk latte beautiful and said, «yeah» nonchalantly. I knew I have come to the right place. He made my matcha latte look so beautiful! Oh my goodness! My day was instantly better! Days of deciding between health and beauty may be lessened! Let’s be honest, that struggle is real. Other pluses: free wifi, tons of tea, tons of coffee, gluten free pastries, and more I have yet explored.

Wish I had known we could have gotten a real coffee cup, instead of a to-go cup. Nice enough place, kind of quiet in the afternoon, but it was Sunday & Mother’s Day on top of that. I liked the cappuccino, especially the pattern on top. The foam was light and not too thick. Some of the upholstered furniture looked like it could have used some cleaning. I used the bathroom and was intrigued by the tablecloth covered toilet bowl that wasn’t being used(obviously). It was just plain weird.
