Every time I come here after 8 o’clock there is no food left. If you want to go to a real panda express go to the one in Pleasant Hill they actually serve food until it closes and it’s 10 times better. This place has only around three people working here at all times it’s ridiculous

I will preface this by saying I hate complaining(I really do). But, I arrived at 8:30PM to be told they are out of chow mein, steamed vegetables, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, plus other entrees. Customer service proved to be sub par as well.

The two ladies working when we went were extremely rude. The one serving food kept barking«what else!» It was poor service even for fast food.

Slow service, beef broccoli dried. Small portion, except for the rice. Ok if you are craving Chinese food.

The service was really slow and there was barely anybody in line. Also one of their workers named Tracy was really rude about getting an entrée free because I had a coupon. Also they need to be more attentive of their soda machine because three of the flavors were out of soda.

Standard Panda Express with tight parking in this area. Service despite not having many customers at lunch time was really slow and supply for multiple selections was low. The restaurant is clean enough. No service w a smile but may be the norm for Panda Express despite the area. The food was as expected at least. Two stars only.

Terrible service and terrible food. I asked the worker how long ago did they bring out the Orange chicken and she said it was made 5 minutes ago and guaranteed it was fresh but when I was eating the chicken my fork broke because it was so hard and stale. Also after paying the worker never offered me a bag for my food. I suggest they shut this place down or hire new workers. I will never spend my money at this location ever again.

Decent fast Chinese food. The reason I only give this place 2 stars is because the people that work here barely speak English and always manage to not put soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce in my to go bag no matter how many times I tell them to. Learn to speak and understand the English language if you plan on working in the U.S.A. folks. Very annoying!

I end up walking out of this place half the time due to the slow service. I have to wonder if the owners bother to read these reviews as consistently bad as they are. This is easy to fix if only they cared.

No stars! Horrible service, horrible staff. Kept waiting for food with no apologies or even acknowledgement. Another 6 other people with the same issue. Most trays empty and they were giving out really tiny portions! Do not go!

Very rude and horrible service. They open at 11:00am and they never have anything ready! You will be waiting around for at lease 20mins!!!

The service here is hilariously slow. But to be fair… Scooping orange chicken onto a plate is a pretty involved process. Only thing better was the mom complaining to her kids behind us for 20 minutes.

I really do like panda. I also choose the one in Lafayette over Pleasant Hill because of assume the service is better. It is. But, I’m here at 8:40, 50 minutes before the closing time on the door of 9:30 and there’s almost nothing available to serve. There wasn’t enough orange chicken for a whole portion so I said how about adding some of those pieces of broccoli to make it enough. Ended up getting charged for a third entrée. Which I would’ve been ok with if she filled a 3rd entrée box. Also, no soy sauce. What? How? That’s like Starbucks running out of cream.

I like Panda Express most of the time. The food isn’t bad and it’s cheap. But today it was really irritating to visit this location. I was waiting in line when the lady walked by me and started helping this other woman. Usually I wouldn’t care but today I was working in the evening and when I tried to get her attention completely ignored me then when I tried to tell the person that did help me what I wanted kept trying to tell me the difference between two entrees so I had to continually repeat myself. Then when I asked if she could throw away the receipt kept trying to give it to me. Their customer service skills need updating and some serious improvement.

HOW?! WHY?! Two people working with a line of 12 working. Yes, I counted. It took a good 15 – 20 minutes to get to order. Half of the options then, are not ready/cooked, and so they’ll ask you if you’d like to wait a couple of minutes which turns out to be 10 minutes. They customer service is alright, but not much. Ridiculousness… How is this location still in business???

Terrible customer service. And not a clean restaurant. I found hair in my food. Perhaps the owner needs to invest in some hair nets? Play attention to what they charge you as well. Avoid it, go somewhere else.

Although I’d love to see a few more choices, especially with more vegetables, the basic dishes are delicious. I like that they publish the calorie count in each. Their brown rice and their chow mein are always really good as well as their eggplant with tofu. I’ve experienced several different take-outs in various cities and all of them were consistent. The restaurants are clean, the service is friendly and fast. When I want very simple Chinese food on the run, Panda Express is my go-to place.

When Panda first came to the Bay Area a decade or so ago, it actually wasn’t bad. But recent visits have made me think otherwise. Yes it’s borderline fast food but I guess you get what you pay for. Chow mein? — Oily. Mixed Veggies? — Soggy. Pot Stickers? — Doughy. Broccoli Beef? — Overcooked. Spring Rolls? — Frozen inside. The Honey Walnut shrimp is actually not bad, shrimp crispy and glaze not overly sweet. But the Orange Chicken, their signature dish, was also over done and they don’t bother to take the old stuff out of the steam table before blending it with the new. I understand how you have to use as much as possible but there has to be better way than that. I’ll spend an extra buck or two next time and go to Uncle Yu or Dragons Pond.

I am not a fan of Chinese food in the first place, and fast food Chinese food even less, but my boyfriend loves Panda Express so we came here. I first cannot understand why their option for a plate is one side and two entrees… you’d think it should be one entrée with two sides, just thinking about how meals typically are plated. Then you talk about how much salt you’re eating, with the calories presented before you as well… you might as well just get the vegetables and half an entrée. My meal was edible(white rice, steamed veggies, and pot stickers), but I won’t be coming back…

What can I say? Fast food Chinese food? This Panda Express is nothing out of the ordinary. Sure, it can be a bit dingy and sticky, but all the workers here speak English and do their best cleaning after customers. And, there’s orange chicken. I love you, orange chicken. The food here is the best Americanized Chinese food you can probably get. I get cravings for their orange chicken and hot and sour soup… no lie.
