The Mexican style steak is so delicious! the beef is very tender, and the sauce is absolutly flavourful

Homemade chips and tortillas, awesome guacamole, tender and juicy beef and very flavorful al pastor. Horchata was great too.(Al pastor & horchata or are my two go-to items for determining if I’ll go back to a Mexican place). Will definitely be back!

Very confused about the food in here. We ordered the mexican nachos and they were awesome. We also got some tacos and they were not that good. Our main meal was overcook and didn’t taste too good. Maybe we came at a bad time or ordered the wrong food but we were disappointed. I will have to come again at a more normal time and order the right food or at the very least have some more of those awesome nachos.

Mexican food isn’t my first choice but my bf likes it so we decided to try it out. I ordered the Mexican pizza which is basically two tortillas and stuff in the middle but it was a ton of food. Definitely a huge portion for the price which is always nice. Guacamole was my favorite, handmade not blended and the chips were made fresh and the salsa didn’t taste like it came out of a jar. All in all I think it’s become a contender to beat for Mexican food. Nice atmosphere, big portions for a really good price and the foods pretty good. Check it out.

Among the best authentic Mexican I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot! I’ve traveled frequently to Texas, California and Arizona eating at all the authentic taco trailers and hole-in-the-wall places where Mexican TV is blaring and English is rarely heard and amazingly, this place in the heart of the midwest is one of the best! I find their Menudo recipe to be the best I’ve had where the tripe is stewed long enough to be totally soft, their tacos and tortas are spot on authentic(I prefer lengua or pastor). Note: I look for Menudo, lengua, Al pastor, or cabeza on the menu as a gauge of authenticity. Their sides of rice and beans are the best I’ve had — the rice is nice and fluffy with good flavor and the beans are very tasty as if made with broth instead of just water. If you’re looking for a chain type Mexican restaurant with ambiance then keep looking ’cause this ain’t it. But if you’re looking for a small, clean place with truly authentic food as good or better than what you’ll find in the border states you need to stop in.
