I went here in January 2013, after getting insurance again, in need of a good cleaning. After the full workup, I was notified that I had peridontal disease and would need cleanings every 3 months for the rest of my life, as well as a root scaling, laser treatment under my gums, and had to cavities in my back right lower molars needing fillings(had never had a cavity at the age of 37). So, figuring it had been too long since my last cleaning and taking the Dentist at his word, I went through it all. My insurance was maxed out in the first visit, plus $ 600 out of pocket. The morning after my fillings, it hurt on top every time I bit down, but I waited a few days thinking I was just tender after the cleaning. I went back after a week, after calling and getting told my bite likely just needed adjusted. They x-rayed me, ground on the fillings and on the tooth above that was giving me pain, then I was told it should be fine in a few days. A week later, no change, I was back again. Same treatment, same story, come back in a week if no improvement. After getting online to pull up the number on Google, I saw a list of reviews of this practice and was instantly sick to my stomach. I talked to a few people at work for recommendations of other dentists, and went with one of the others on a recommendation. Coincidentally, one of my co-workers had an almost identical problem and experience there. The new dentist had the problem figured out within 10 minutes, replaced the fillings at no charge(saying he wouldn’t have been happy with them if it had been his work). He also diagnosed me with a cracked tooth directly above the two fillings, which I didn’t have prior to their treatment. I ended up needing a crown and a root canal, which was another couple thousand dollars out of my pocket. I wound up going after the original dentists corporation and got a partial refund after hounding them and getting dodged and my calls not returned, finally contacting the dental board and my attorney. That information got action, albeit with an attitude. I still came out far in the hole financially, but lesson learned. This place should be shut down. Do yourself a favor and read the google reviews before you trust your mouth to them.

Warning! ! Do not go here. I felt it was my duty to warn others about the scam going on. Dr. Michael Harris said I had 5 cavities and gave me an estimate of 1200 dollars. He couldn’t show me anything on the xrays so I asked him to send them to me because I wanted a second opinion. He never did. Since this, I have gone to two different dentists who both said that this is absolutely outrageous because I clearly have no cavities. This place should be featured on American Greed.
