Josie at the Body Bar is AMAZING! She has a nice demeanor and is very professional. This is one of the best massages I have had in a long time. Her body work is great she does a stretch rub move on the back that made me book another appointment right away. Definite recommend!!! The establishment is in a cute building with just massage rooms and a nice bathroom. I’m glad I found this hidden gem!

UPDATE:
The day after my massage I was so sore I had to take opiate pain killers for three days. I didn’t realize my body would react this way. Be SURE to tell the therapist not to go too deep. Massages that result in this level of pain are NOT helping you!!!
I have not gone back for a second massage… not sure I will.

I LOVE the Body Bar! Best massages hands down! I am now so spoiled that I won’t get a massage anywhere else. The women at the Body Bar are incredible. They are very nurturing and intuitive. They take time to ask questions and to listen which ensures your massage is perfect for your specific issues. I am hard on my nearly 50 year old body (Boot Camp 3X’s weekly, Tennis 2−3X’s weekly, Skiing every weekend etc) and my monthly massage at the Body Bar helps keep me healthy and in the game! The Body Bar is unique in that they don’t schedule massages back to back so when your massage is done you can have time to slowly get up and get dressed. I love not being rushed. Also, if you book a 90 minute massage, you get a 90 minute massage! None of that 1 hour massage lasting 50 minutes. The Body Bar is also incredibly affordable (another reason I can no longer go to a spa and get an outrageously overpriced mediocre massage). I was hesitant to write this review-don’t want to make The Body Bar so busy that I can’t get in when I want to:-). You will love this place!

Finally, a great place in Lafayette for a massage! The booking experience is easy: I used the website to pick a time slot and was called back in a few hours to confirm. As a person with tweaks and soreness from working out often, I felt like they understood what to ask and had great knowledge on how to work on a body. I’ve had 3 of the girls work with me and all were wonderful. I highly recommend this place as your go-​to location for those who «need» massages to keep your lifestyle going… they GET IT.
