I’ve been dancing Lindy Hop and swing for close to 5 years. I’ve bought many pairs of dance shoes, but always online. I’m now taking a tap dance class, and tried out this store this afternoon in order to buy tap shoes (wanting to try them on before buying, and spend my money locally).
Unfortunately, I received the WORST customer service of my life. Absolutely horrible. Snooty dance people running this store, I walked in and was not even ACKNOWLEDGED for close to 20 minutes. They had several other customers, but I stood 2 feet away from a saleswoman and she didn’t even look at me. Finally got some help, bought the shoes quickly (as I need them for class this weekend and don’t have time to order online), left even faster.
HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED. Buy your dance shoes online or elsewhere, these people don’t deserve your hard-​earned money. I work in Customer Service and worked retail for several years — I would NEVER treat a customer this badly. Thanks but no thanks, Less-​Than-​Enchanted Pointe.
