We bought some nuts in bulk and put on our private label as a novelty gift item for Christmas. Not only were the almonds delicious but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Since we bought in bulk and packed the nuts ourselves they gave us a discount. They have so many adorable food gifts.

I never stepped foot into the store after living in Lafayette for over 20 years. I finally did since they had a sign for gourmet ice cream. My kids are in love with the ice cream.

So Awesome! I just bought the most amazing walnuts here. I mix the walnuts with ocean spray crasins and serve them together for my guests who love them.

the nut factory i’ve passed by hundreds of times. never stopped. finally did. the whole street had no cars at all.
gent present gave me a short history of the nut factory. also a sample of the cashews. they make a variety of jams, roasted nuts, dried fruits, gourmet foods.
their specialty is gift boxes for xmas.
buys: hickoy smoked split almonds ($ 11⁄16 oz.)
–natural hickory smoke tasted
–almonds fresh tasting, crispy
–informed nuts roasted in small 25 pound batches.
–not nuts about it but it’s really tasty, addictive.

–almost across the street from the parking lot of lafayette’s library.

I am quite disappointed with my bag of mixed salted nuts. They taste like they have been sitting on the shelf for too long and are not nearly as crispy or flavorful as I was expecting fresh to be. There were no nuts for me to taste first or I would not have bought them. So at home I had to put a batch of the nuts in a 350 oven for about 10 – 15 minutes to make them decently crisp, but the underlying lack of flavor remains. I won’t be back.

Offerings sold here include a variety of roasted nuts such as almonds, cashews, and pecans packaged in lovely gift bags as well as specialty dried fruits, gourmet foods and candies.
The Nut Factory is an ideal place to find not only gift baskets and corporate gifts but also to shop for holiday gifts.

Known for their assortment of nut and dried fruit varieties, Nut Factory has been part of the local color since the early 1950s. Back then their primary focus was wholesale, now this location also serves as a little storefront.
In addition to their traditional nut and dried fruit offerings, you’ll also find various gift and variety packs and every possible way to prepare a nut in sweet or savory. A great place to stock up on hostess /​appreciation and corporate gifts featuring locally produced foods. Various condiments and syrups as well. Other brands they feature include Bo’s Best Pancake & Waffle mixes, not to mention a certain namesake brand of condiments made by the girl & the fig of Sonoma.
Owners are very charming and very active in the local community. A sweet visit to be savored for sure. Conveniently located behind the new Lafayette Library location.
