I’m writing this review because I noticed TCPL only had one other review and it was very negative. Apparently the writer made the mistake of going to the wrong library and took her frustrations out on this branch… shameful! This establishment is wonderful! It has computers, DVDs, periodicals, reading rooms, microfiche, newspapers, wifi, friendly staff, and of course tons of books… and everything is free! It’s clean(especially considering it’s a public establishment.) I am a personal fan of the semi-hidden reading room with the huge fireplace and long oak desks. It’s beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. Back when I was a Purdue Student, I would occasionally take the free 3-minute bus ride to this library and do my studying there — just to get a change of scenery. What’s not to love?

This is the main branch of the TCPL system and unfortunately the least stocked with college friendly items. I came downtown to do a research paper only to find that every scrap of information was at the Ivy Tech branch. How useless…
