Trafny Auto

I bought a Toyota 4 RUNNER almost 2 weeks ago from these guys.  This wasn’t the first vehicle I bought from them  either.  I was texted by the Salesman that they had something I might be interested in.  When I told him I went by to look at it later that night he said he was driving it.  When my gfriend and I went the next day and found him there he said it was down the road getting some frayed spark plug wires replaced.  We went down and the mechanic was working on it.  I asked what he was doing to it and he got silent.  Then the salesman spoke up and changed the subject.  He did say «even if you have to put a motor in it the frame is mint» At which I said I don’t want a vehicle I have to do anything like that to.  Long story short after a few high pressure texts from the salesman.  We bought it for $ 3,800.00.  I took it home and parked it while I got the plates, insurance and registration.  2 days later my girlfriend drove it the 4 miles into her work but when she tried leaving to come home it took almost 2 hours due to not hardly running.  I got ahold of Trafny Auto sales and after several texts they came and drove off with it to allegedly fix it.  A few days later they wanted me to come sign a blank work order to get it fixed at their mechanics.  They did say they would pay half but never said what half was, nor how much it would cost.   WE TEXTED them and told them we would not sign the work order.  So they had a tow truck drop it off on my street in front of mailboxes. I told the tow truck driver to take it back to TRAFNY cause what good is it at my house.  They then called the police like I abandoned my vehicle and within a few hours had it impounded.  All this without telling me and while I was at work.  Now they have taken a bad situation and added more expense for their customer.  This Dave Trafny should NOT BE IN BUISNESS unless the buisness is taking your money, costing you more money and SCREWING you.  I have had several texts back and forth with them and they say they are not doing nothing.  I paid $ 4,500 total for a vehicle I got less than 20 miles on.  I understand things happen but I should not be expected to eat the costs of this.  I will be filing a claim against them today.  If anything like this has happened to you with these guys please let me know.  It’s a shame that some people think they can still screw people out of their hard earned money.  Luckily we live in indiana and have some of the toughest lemon laws in the country… DO NOT DO BUISNESS with these guys…
