The price is right! It’s an affordable, no frills basic place to rest your head. It was clean. Breakfast was just some muffins and apples. Nothing fancy, but the gesture is nice. I plan on staying here again in October. I really like the location. Walking distance to Girard Park.

I stayed here for a night on my way to New Orleans. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the WiFi worked, but the signal wasn’t that strong. All in all I can recommend that place as a cheap and good accommodation. Keep it up, guys ;-)

It’s bearable. I’ll test the waters somewhere else next time, but it’s not so bad that I wouldn’t stay here again if it was priced right. Under $ 50 would be great! Small shower, little water pressure, bed wasn’t comfortable, pillows weren’t great. Somewhat dirty room. Nothing really good, other than WIFI worked well. But, nothing repulsive either. No bugs. Has a small outdoor pool. Free breakfast is a joke. Staff was friendly to me.

When I first arrived in Lafayette to start a new job, I lived in hotels for over a month while looking for a place to live. This Travelodge was one of the worst places I stayed. I paid for 7 days upfront and I was told that a mini fridge and microwave would be brought to my room ASAP. I was very pleased by this as I’m not a fan of eating out and money was tight during the move as it was. However, as each day passed and I inquired about the promised appliances, I was always given another excuse as to why they had not arrived. After the week was up and the fridge and microwave had not been supplied as promised, I went into the office to see if the manager would cut me a break on a second week because of the inconvenience. To my surprise, he was very unapologetic and kind of rude when faced with the issue. In a nutshell, he basically told me that I would pay full price for another week or I could go stay elsewhere. I was very disappointed in this horrible attention to detail and lack of customer service. I paid for a service that I never received and they didn’t care. In addition to this issue, there were several other areas where Travelodge was subpar. The bathroom was very shabby and worn. The pool was dirty and in disrepair in addition to being located in the middle of the parking lot just a few feet from 4 busy, noisy lanes of traffic. All in all, there are much better places to stay with much better accomodations and service. Avoid Travelodge if you can.

Very nice. Busy part of town, so it can be a bit noisy outside. Rooms appear to have recently been remodeled, so they are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Free continental breakfast, well-lit parking, and friendly staff. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very friendly staff, free wifi that actually works and at a good speed. Pool is small, needs to be skimmed on the insects(and I couldn’t find a net). Rooms pretty clean, though not a fan of finding used coffee grinds in the coffee maker or other people’s hairs in the bathroom. Bed a little firm, but that is a preference, not a complaint. TV remote didn’t have a sleep button I am so use to in hotels. Breakfast includes danishes, those muffins that are in plastic bags like twinkies(never expire kind), two kinds of cereal, eggos, orange juice and coffee. Because of the Zeus restaurant and traffic, a noisier place. Big picture, for the price, a good deal, would choose this place again.
