This place is closed. A new restaurant has been opened and the people are great as well as the food! It’s called Romers restaurant

I’ve eaten here several times in the last few years and usually enjoy it. Tonight I had the grinder and chips and the sandwich was ok but the service was terribly slow. The place wasn’t busy and there were four waitresses working so I wouldn’t expect to wait fifteen minutes for drinks.

I’ve never had a problem with their quality of food, but their menu is way overpriced. Service had always been slow.
I’ve stayed after the kitchen has closed for drinks. It was fun last Saint Patrick’s day, but a normal weekend night the place clears out super fast and they usually call «last call» way before midnight.
Their drinks are normal but again. Service was slow. You’d have better luck going up to the bar and ordering… which is sad because the place is NOT that busy.
But if you are in LaGrange your options are super limited, especially as far as nightlife goes.

Great food… love the atmosphere:) you can take kids before 9 :)

I was stuck in the LaGrange, IN area for 3 days so I tried Grossmans on my first night. Had their Wings and a Pizza both were done very nicely. They poured a stiff drink and had a good selection of beer. The place was full and I sat at the bar, good service! So two days later I went back and they had a nightly special of baby back ribs so I tried these… what a mistake! They must have been cooked two days prior, had an old taste and the membrane on the back of the ribs was still intact. The meat was mushy. I ordered onion rings because the waitress told me they were home dipped… wrong!, they were frozen and terrible. The trip to the salad bar was quick, it was not well stocked and foods had been slopped over into it’s neighbor. Still served a good drink but the food sucked! A local told me that their Broasted Chicken is good. Might be worth a stop if you are in LaGrange, looks like the best place, hope they improve the food.
