This Sears gets a bad review because of their delivery… policy. I ordered a washer and dryer to be delivered to my apartment, and in their delivery book, the manager put me down for the 8:00 am time spot. At 9:15, I still had not heard anything, so my mom suggested I call them to see what was going on (especially since my roommate and I both have plans for the day and can’t wait forever on them). I was told that the store did not open until 9:00 and that the times in the delivery book did not mean anything; they just couldn’t find a book without times. My response was that I was not told this (my mom was with me when the appliances were purchased and delivery time set and she agrees with my interpretation of the delivery time) and that they needed to arrive as soon as possible because of the aforementioned plans. I hope I will not have any need to purchase something from this store again.
