Beautiful Nails

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to. I always book my appointments with Vivianne as I really like her pedicures. They are one of the few nail salons open on Sunday.

Love this place! Great massage, friendly… Left there very relaxed. I will be back!!!

The gals at this salon are so sweet and give an awesome pedicure/​manicure that LASTS! The shoulder massage is so relaxing and they really put their heart into their work. My favorite nail salon in all of California.

Pros:
An electric callus removal on feet was included w/​mani/​pedi
Cons:
–Incredibly overpriced– $ 50 for mani/​pedi
–Seemed more like a neighborhood mani/​pedi place than a high-​end nail salon, which made the final price tag that much more shocking.
–The women were definitely negatively talking about their customers in another language, which was incredibly uncomfortable.

this morning i found a gift certificate i’d received to beautiful nails back in 2012 and was in laguna so stopped in. great service! they spent so much time and care on my gel mani and pedi and gave me the best neck massage i’ve had in years. i was just happy they would honor my 3 year old gift card, i had no idea what a gem this place was. first off, it is clean clean clean. secondly, the employees are super quiet and don’t chat w/​each other too much. it is really relaxing. some nail places leave you feeling more stressed than when you arrive. they chatted w/​me enough to be nice but also let me unwind and just chill. no add ons were pushed on my, i asked for them. my nails look great and i feel great. thanks, ladies!

Awesome service. Great attention to detail. Walked in for a mani pedi and couldn’t be happier. Sanded calluses, massaged my hands and feet, all was great! Easy and casual.

My favorite nail salon by far. They offer Chanel Polish as an upgrade option. Very clean and friendly. I feel like it’s a little more upscale than most other nail salons in the area. I can always walk in without an appointment.

Great work all around… a little pricey but you get what you pay for! Love this place

I really like the staff here. They are nice, efficient and pleasant. You can’t beat the prices. It has a great, quaint neighborhood feel to it.

Very rude entrance… and when the massage chair didn’t work, all they said was sorry!
I told them that I don’t want service unless I have a working massage and they told me I can leave if I want to… in any case I stayed… But never again will I go there

My family and I love this place. We have been all over the Laguna area and find that this is a great team that always recognizes us and does their best to accommodate us. My mom, sister and I make it a point to go to Beautiful Nails every year when we travel to our place in Laguna Beach. I think we have been going back here for almost 7 years now.
Some reviews say it’s expensive but I have never had a manicure/​pedicure last as long as the ones I get here. Before we found Beautiful Nails, I think I would need to go back at least twice while we were in Laguna. My manicures have always lasted longer and my pedicures could easily last the full month as well. (they might not want to hear that?!) Someone said, you get what you pay for and I agree.
The one time my French manicure chipped, they fixed it at no cost.
The team there is also very friendly. All of them do a great job. Back home I have to be very specific with the one or two people in the salon that I feel do a good job. Here, I haven’t had any issues with any of them.
The fact that they have a parking lot is nice too.
It feels like we are just catching up with friends when we go back each year.
We love this place.

I went today and had a great pedicure and outstanding shoulder massage. The ladies are all very sweet and welcoming. Personally I didn’t think it was expensive, but I am used to NYC prices.

I know that this salon is not as inexpensive as most others, but the time and quality of the service is UNMATCHED!!! I get a mani-​pedi every 2 weeks. I live in Laguna Beach, but I’m often tempted by the prices of other salons in Irvine or Newport. But every time I stray from Beautiful nails, it always turns out to be a waste of time and money!!! I’m a gel-​mani fan and NO ONE can do a gel-​mani like Beautiful nails!!! It can last me up to 3 weeks+!!! When I have it done at other places, it starts peeling after a couple days… sad! And yes, like the other reviewer said, they take the time and care to really clean, scrub, massage you. It’s wonderful. Michelle, the owner, and all the girls always remember you and make you feel good!!! Enjoy the experience!!!

The owner Michelle is a such a nice and warm lady. I love the ambience, unlike other chain store, commercial and rush. Defiantly come here again!!!

I hear what the other reviewers are saying about their prices. But you know what? You get what you pay for. These ladies don’t just give u a wam bam thank you ma’m treatment. They really take their time to scrub the calluses off your feet, and the cuticles on your nails.
I hate when you go to a salon and they rush and you leave with rough feet and u have to touch up the job they did on your nails. Not here. They worked on my feet and hands for 40 minutes. If you want a really good thorough job, spend the extra money. You’re worth it!

I think $ 21 for a very poor manicure that did even include a painting job, but resulted in a cut and nails of different length is too much. Also, the place itself is dimly lit (in a bad way), undecorated, and appears gloomy and unwelcoming. I am not coming back.

I called ahead to find out the price of a Pedicure and I was told it was $ 18.00. I walked in, sat down and had a nice pedicure. Then when I went to pay I was told it was $ 30.00! I did not have «sea salt» or whatever else they were upcharging me with!
The minute the polish was on my toes I immediately pulled out of the chair and dismissed. Unbelievable. That was the most expensive pedicure in my life. I guess it cost $ 1.00 per minute, because I was there for 30 minutes and it cost me $ 30.00…no I did not leave a tip even though the manicurist stood there looking for one!

I went here on a Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend and another couple. We called ahead to ensure they could accomodate the four of us, and were assured we could come right in. We waited over an hour to sit down, the two boys were forgotten about while two walk-​ins were prioritized over them, and I have never been so rushed for such an expensive pedicure. My sandles were shoved back on my feet and I was booted from my seat the second my polish application was finished. Also, beware pricy add-​ons that are offered without the warning that they will jack up the cost of your mani/​pedi. I am sure you will find kinder employees, better value for your service, and a much more relaxing experience elsewhere.
