Best place to have breakfast in Laguna Beach, cute and charming place with friendly service and taste of food, excellent!

So good! Here from out of town and had the chorizo and it was delicious. All the options were a lot of food, but nice and light. The owner puttered around chatting with customers and she was so sweet. Food came out really fast for being so busy. Loved it, would come here again next time we are in town.

Large portion for special. Farm to table tastes. Somewhat snobbish much like Laguna in general but good if you’re into good food. Would come back for the food.

Best breakfast in Laguna. Hands down. Coffee is great, food is to-die for, service is outstanding! Anyone who rates this place less than 4-stars is ‘obviously’ a flawed individual…

I was really looking forward to eating here with all the high reviews, but I was let down due to the quality. I found not one, not two, but three strands of hair in my food. Such a shame.

Cute little café. Easy parking and delicious food! We ordered the Denver omelette and Italian sausage eggs Benedict. They were both full of flavor they did not skip on the veggies or ham for the omelette! Both meals full of flavor! We also had a delicious mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice. Only improvement would be the lack of sitting space and how you order first then you find a seat. There is a sweet older women arranging seating for everyone based on their numbers but there were still people coming in and sitting down as soon as they saw someone get up. I can see where this would become a cluster on super busy days. We will be back!

Such an amazing brunch spot! The eggs florentine is my personal favorite. Quality of food is always phenomenal and fresh! Also, this place hands down has the best chai latte I’ve ever had. Decent pricing, staff is so friendly and helpful!

Café Anastasia was recommended to me and my family on our recent trip to Laguna Beach. I tend to take random recommendations lightly, as most people do not have high standards for food. We took a chance and went for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a fresh juice with beets and apples + the apple pancakes. My little sister ordered a fresh juice and a Mexican omelette, brother ordered chicken pesto sandwich(yum!), step-mom ordered waffle with fresh fruit and my dad ordered the chorizo hash. I was underwhelmed. My apple pancake was more like a crêpe and was entirely too sweet for me. My dad’s chorizo hash was just ok… and my little sister insisted that her omelette was stuffed with canned salsa. It had tons of great reviews, but honestly — i don’t understand what the hype is about. Maybe my tastebuds were off… The pesto chicken sandwich was the only delicious thing I experienced. Maybe I should have went with a different entrée. Wasn’t a fan of Café Anastasia, although it seems like it has potential.

My boyfriend and I came here for a Valentine’s Day brunch all the way from San Diego. I really enjoyed the vibe and energy in this little café. I ordered the first poached egg option on the menu and an iced mocha. Presentation was very cute. Iced mocha needed more ice and chocolate, but I still enjoyed it. I would definitely be coming back if I’m ever in the area again!

Café Anastasia is the perfect little café in Laguna. It’s located on Ocean Avenue with lots of parking both metered as well as several parking lots. I usually go for brunch and unfortunately there is always a wait. You wait in line, order, and then wait for the next available table. The food is incredible. Everything I’ve tried from the breakfast waffles, to the Eggs Benedict is delicious. I recommend trying a fresh squeezed juice, as well as their breakfast specials that are not listed on the menu! The service is great too. Though the café is slow, the owner is super sweet and always walks around to make sure her customers are enjoying their food.

Had breakfast/brunch here this morning… Cute place with indoor and outdoor seating, cool vibe with an attached clothing store with a lot of stylish edgy apparel. Had the California omelette that was a good size portion, beautifully plated and very tasty. It came with sourdough toast that never arrived): My café mocha was ok, needed more mocha flavor perhaps.

Loved the mushroom pasta I got! The restaurant is in a small location so finding parking may be difficult if you go during busy hours.

Great little breakfast/lunch spot in Laguna! I had the Chinese chicken salad this time around, but have tried their breakfast as well… fresh ingredients and their fresh juices are fantastic. The owner is a very nice lady that will check up on you during your meal. Not overbearing, with just the perfect amount of customer care. It was a bit hot in there(no AC?), so plan accordingly. The patio was a lot better with the ocean breeze.

The whole order, then wait to be seated, then your order gets placed is a bit strange. It kinda makes one feeling a bit duped into a long waiting period. This place however is super quaint, cute and they do make some yummy food. There is also a cute shop to browse thru next door to pass the waiting period. Their fresh squeezed orange juice was pretty much perfect. I still dream about the caramel french toast. Quite the indulgence. Defiantly a go to when in Laguna.

Came here for brunch and got the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. You order at the counter and then they bring it out to you. The food was good, and they gave two eggs. I only wished that it came with more sides though. I easily killed the whole plate. Their salad wasn’t that bad either. The way they made the vegetables reminded me of a little of Asian food. Not bad. If they had some potatoes on the side, then that would be a plus, but still a good place to eat.

Anastacia has an elegant and graceful exterior wrapped around an ordinary interior that serves just better than ordinary food. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good and it doesn’t bill itself as expensive. It is basically your order at the counter and they will bring you your food at the table kinda place. There is an Anastacia clothing shop connected to the café and with my wallet I would consider it a very expensive place to shop. I guess the idea is to spend all your money buying the wife, honey, and/or gf some cloths and then with what’s left you can still get a meal at the café. Next Time? I heard their Caramel French Toast is good.
