After having initial hesitation Kirk and the owner assured me they were doing the best for the best price. Not only did they do an exceptional job this is the first place I’ve ever been quoted over and actually paid a significant amount less. I will refer my mother as well as all of my clients and friends. Happy to find this place !

Seriously the best place to get tires and brake work done in Laguna! Their service is honest and very fairly priced– I left their shop with a new set of tires and rotors/​brakes feeling like the value was the best I could have found in the area. Coast Motorsports is a great business. The owners are always there and very helpful and knowledgeable about all tires. They always make sure the match the right size for your vehicle and give you quality tires at great prices. I have had multiple sets of tires, alignment, and powder coating done through their shop and more than happy with their service. Will be taking my car back there next week for new tires, alignments and brakes.

Best place to buy tires in Orange County hands down. Their prices are always the best and the customer service is top notch. I’ve purchased several sets of tires here over the last few years. In addition, I sent my 19 year old daughter here to get new tires when she had a flat. They had to bring the tires in the next day so Laurie put a good tire on her car, in place of the little spare, to get her by. Laurie definitely went above and beyond what anyone could have expected. As far as the negative comments I’ve read here, all I can say is you must have been a horrible customer in the first place! HAH!

I have been taking our vehicles here for the past few years. We have a multi vehicle household including 2 college kids whose cars we help maintain. I love to support small local businesses, but sometimes the prices are just too high. This place is the best for tires, brakes and alignments and their prices are actually lower than their competitors and about ½ of the dealer prices. But, the most important thing is how they handle things when there is a problem. We had installed a couple of tires on one of our high mileage vehicles which just didn’t do well; they really handled it well.
The service is always fast (although I do usually pre-​order my tires for installation the next day) and professional. In the past week, I have had work, tires, and brakes done on 3 of our vehicles with reasonable prices and would recommend these folks to anyone.

same crooks that used to operate «the wheel and tire connection» over in irvine. made a special order on a set of tires and was told i needed to prepay for them in order to get them in. a week later a different brand name set is there when i show up and they insist thats what i requested. not only would they not refund me my money but they wanted to charge me for shipping a set of tires that was never even talked about. the aforementioned «bondo face» told me that they only give in-​store credit. what a joke

I have never been able to beat the price or the performance (they can manage to install my tires so they don’t leak) from any other store in the 7 years I have owned my X-Runner…It’s worth the drive to come down here…

These guys are the best! So friendly and helpful and Lori at the front desk went above and beyond with me. Ladies this is the place to go and feel comfortable the mechanics were nice and polite. I normally hate to go anywhere that has to with cars without my husband.

First time customer and last time customer!!!
I had them put BFG tire’s on my ford truck standard size tires and took it back for air maintenance and rotation service since I live right next door. Flexy Roidman and his wife Bondo face are the ruddiest most arrogant un-​knowledgeable people I have met.
My truck tire’s wore out after 20,000 miles, when I took it back she said it’s due to under inflation that causes center wear and I said no I think that’s over inflation. Julio came out from under the rack to check the air and said I was 8 – 9 lbs to high and that’s what caused the wear. Well these people are the only one’s who have ever maintained these tires so the blame lies directly on them.
They are either all so incompetent or they want me to replace my tires more often. I said why are you putting so much air in my tires and Bondo face shrugged her shoulders and said don’t know and she didn’t really care.
Now I know why cars are never there, low pricing terrible service equals Out of Business soon.

I never have been compelled to write any kind of review about any business. I have to say my experiences here were poor. I don’t complain but customer service here is just sad.
Here is my experiences:
I recently had an x-​pipe installed here. Its a simple job take off the old pipe then bolt on the the new piece. i would have done it myself but my car is so low I need to put it on a lift.
I take my car to Coast Motorsports early, they install it, and I leave. Later down the on the freeway I hear rattling. I can smell the exhaust is leaking and my check engine light comes on.
I have to be at work so there is no possible way I can turn back. I get to work and figured I could just take the car somewhere for a few bucks to get it torqued down. I figure a clap or bolt did not get tightened down by the mechanic a simple mistake. No big deal.
I take the car to get an oil change by my work and to also get it on a lift to see whats wrong. Looking at it Coast Motorsports forgot to tighten down the nuts. The nuts were missing and to find out they are special for the exhaust. To find out the nuts and bolts are not an off the shelf part and are expensive so I’m a bit upset. I have to order them from Ford.
I call the owner the next morning to see if the nuts are still there and she tells me no. She tells me her mechanic in 15 years he has never made a mistake and to bring the car in. They stand by their work etc. I tell them I’ll give them a shot to fix the issue the next day saturday.
So I to go out of my way that day to buy the right nuts to fix the exhaust. I also buy the bolts just in case. Total cost for the special nuts and bolts $ 98. Also a drive to Villa Park to get them.
I bring the car in 9am today when they are supposed to be open. First of all they were 30 minutes late in opening. There were 3 other people waiting that expressed frustration with having to wait for them to open the shop. All in all the shop and mechanic are fully operational at 9:45am.
I approach the owner and she tells me she looked into it and my bolts were stripped. This is without even looking at the car and this was the reason why my exhaust was loose. I think in my head thats not the reason and how would she know. As soon as they jack up the car I’m going to check out her theory.
Coast jacks up the car so I look under to check the bolts. I see that the bolts were not striped and are still intact. At this point I’m a little disturbed.
I call the owner out on her flawed theory. I tell the owner this in not true the bolts are fine. I then say either your mechanic forgot to put the nuts on or they were not tightened down. I then ask her then how are you going to make this right?
She gives me a blank stare. Then her response was that because I brought her a old part it was my fault for the mistake. At this point I was very livid. I walk away and she just answers the phone.
I have to say any reputable shop would have either offered to discount or even simply said they were are sorry for the mistake. I’m here again as a customer a second time for a job that was not completed. I’m wasting time and extra money for Coast Motorsports mistake. Note: When people pay for a service and they expect it to be right.
I’m all about taking responsibly for my actions and Coast Motorsport should as well. The mechanic did put on my nuts but time and extra money was lost from the mistake of the shop. I was not compensated nor a simple apology was given. Bad service practice to blame a consumer for your mistake.
I would not recommend this shop for any type of service. I had tires installed once before and had the same customer service issues. I thought maybe they were having a rough day and I would give them a second chance. This was a big mistake.
Part of this first experience I wanted to order some expensive rims. They basically told me because the rim company was based out of New York they didn’t want to order them. I knew that the rim company had a rim representative in Ontario CA and that they also manufactured their rims on the West Coast in Irwindale. I decided to keep my lip zipped and figured they didn’t want my money or business.
