Dan Miller Jewelry

My husband bought an engagement ring and wedding band from Dan Miller. I have been to the store a few times to get it cleaned/​maintained. It’s a great store, with excellent service. My husband said their prices were very reasonable, which surprised me because it’s in a great location in the heart of Laguna Beach. We both highly reccommend this store

When my husband and I got married, he gave me his grandfather’s diamond ring. We are not a very traditional couple, so we knew we would use the stones but needed a unique setting. After a few days spent wandering around Laguna, we found 2 jewelry designers we liked. I went home and drew up an idea of what I wanted my ring to look like. I took my sketch to the first designer, who has a fancy storefront and chic salespeople. The designer wasn’t in, so I talked to the salesperson. I showed her my sketch, and she showed me a brochure of the wedding rings they offer. They were nice designs, but if I wanted my ring to look the same as someone else’s, I could have just gone to South Coast.
Then we went to Dan Miller. No brochures, no fancy interior, no schmoozy salespeople. Just Dan Miller. He took one look at my sketch and said «Yeah, I can do that.» And he did. And it’s beautiful! The turnaround time was faster than the other place had quoted and the price was less than the other place quoted.
The customer service was great. Everyone there knows jewelry. Dan himself was there every time we stopped in, and was never too busy to talk to us. He is very straightforward and honest with a good sense of (sarcastic) humor. An overall cool guy. He told us to stop by anytime we’re in town to get the ring polished, cleaned or refinished (sand-​blasted.) I would totally would if I hadn’t moved to Chicago.
I get compliments wherever I go, thanks to Dan. His creation isn’t just a ring, it’s a work of art.
