What a great refreshing natural treat. These Popsicles are awesome and contain real fruit/ingredients. They have no sugar added and are under 60 cal. We had the strawberry lemonade which was super delicious. In fact it was so good I wanted to try the raspberry ginger. The raspberry ginger is also equally as good. But I must warn you if you’re not a fan of ginger it might be a little strong for you. Ginger has a bite to it which is appropriate for real ingredients. While we were there we spoke to cofounder Julie Podolec, who informed us that they are eventually going to come out with an all organic version. I am in! I do not care if it cost more money because it is worth it. Julie was very informative regarding their products and pleasant to talk to. We look forward to making purchases of these wonderful treats in Whole Foods Market, Costco as well as other stores in the future. We are hopeful for this small company to have continued success. One last note: these pops are much better than the so-called healthy pops at the grocery store.

I love small businesses like Modern Pop, they are exactly the type of companies we should be supporting. I have gotten a Modern pop for my kids every time we are at the Playground at the Irvine Spectrum this summer, they are amazing. Most of the food companies try to package and market to kids is filled with chemicals and high fructose corn syrup. I am proud to not feed my kids that garbage as much as possible and Modern Pops are the perfect snack. Raspberry Ginger is my favorite. Basically pureed raspberries and a nice spicy kick of fresh ginger. My kids love these as well. Strawberry lemonade are obviously the crowd pleaser for kids, these are the flavors they are used too and this one is excellent. Mango mint is my least favorite although these 2 flavors are probably my favorite, the mango is not tart enough and the mint you can only taste when you bite on the leaf inside. Still good but not great. Watermelon cilantro may surprise you. Such a refreshing flavor. The lady who runs it is super passionate you can tell, I am a believer and love the Modern pop. P. S. For the guy who gave a 1 star review you should probably stick with the artificial garbage you are used too, I think I hear the bell of the ice cream man coming your way now.

$ 3.25 for an ice cube with barely any flavor. It just tastes like water, very dissapointed…

I guess«Modern Pop Laguna Beach So Cal Inspired Frozen Fruit Bars» is the cool new thing in Laguna this summer. Cute Fresh fruit homemade popsicles with just a very little Honey or Agave as a sweetener. Adorable?- Yes! Family friendly– Yes! Healthy?-Yes! $ 3.25 each, or as I did four bars for $ 10.00. If you think this is the same as all the others, — they are not. I defy anyone to find something like this out there. Five flavors, all made from real fresh fruit– Five flavors as of now: Watermelon Cilantro Raspberry Ginger(my fave) Strawberry Lemonade Mango Mint Strawberry Basil You can find the owner & Mom, Julie Podolec, outside of Sapphire restaurant in Laguna at the Pottery Shack this Summer in her little apron and custom white hand cart. Cute! Tuesday-Sunday, Noon thru 4 P.M. Other Modern Pop places are at the Art Festivals in Laguna,(try Art-a– Fair, maybe) and the Pizza Lounge(next to the Hotel Laguna) Bristol Farms, and soon, Whole Foods. So popular!

This adorable popsicle stand is located on the patio in front of Sapphire, an amazing restaurant in the what was once the old Pottery property. We recently stopped by for an icy treat and were stunned by the freshness and complexity of the flavors being offered: strawberry with basil, watermelon infused with garden flavors, raspberry with fresh ginger and more. What a find! These are top quality pops without dairy or fillers. Owner Julie Podolec’s creative menu is as inspired as it is tasty. The pops are not overly sweet and just the right size. A perfect finish to a wonderful meal or a nice treat on a hot day, you can’t go wrong under the umbrella. I ate three on the spot and enjoyed every lingering lick, marveling at how such a simple treat could be elevated to this luscious art form. My family and I will definitely return. This is a not-to-be-missed little gem and the nearby shops are worth a look too. Enjoy!
