We LOVE Modern Furnishings!!! My husband and I had been looking for a specific coffee table from West Elm. After being given the run around and going on a wild goose chase with multiple responses from their customer service reps, we decided to google the item and see if we could find it elsewhere. Modern Furnishings had 3 tables that were VERY similar. After speaking to Heather, she said they could custom make it exactly the way we wanted if that was our preferred route. She also gave some other options and found us some gorgeous marble coffee tables. We decided to meet her in person (mind you we had communicated with her via text & email all week), and are so thankful that we went in! We ended up falling in love with a gorgeous dining table as well! We were going a little out of our budget but we really hadn’t seen a dining table or chairs anywhere else that we loved so we decided to get it. Heather was so friendly, had amazing customer service, and did what she could to get us the best price. Yes you are in Laguna but you honestly pay for what you get. We are so excited to move into our new home with the most gorgeous dining set ever — she even said they would be kind enough to hold them and store for an extra month! Thank you so much Heather for turning our house into a home!!! We are so thankful we met you!

We just moved into our house in April 2015 and we were searching up an down Orange County for furniture, until we stumbled upon Mike’s and John website. We drove to Laguna Bech and looked around the shop, spoke with Mike and agreed for hi to come to our house for an initial consultation. I must admit that I was somewhat skeptical at first. But these guys did us right. Yes, you have to pay an initial fee for the consultation but will be deleted as soon as you order furniture. Modern Studio has my respect, I would comfortably buy again. Mike came out to our house, took all the measurements, designed our dining area, living area and master bedroom and within 2 weeks we had a completed house. A couple of month later we now purchased everything outdoor for our roof terrace from Modern Furnishing and we love it! Great job you guys! We will be sending as much business as we can your way.

Have used MSF for many years now and they never let me down! Always taking care of me even when it’s just something small. Mike, John and the whole team definitely know what customer service is. Their creativity and knowledge are exceptional. If anyone is looking for top quality furnishings you can never go wrong using them. Another great bonus is that everything is made here in the USA.

Stumbled across their showroom walking up Broadway to the Playhouse. You expect top-​of-​the-​line in Laguna, and that’s what you’re in for with Modern Studio. I couldn’t trust myself in the store, but later checked out their website and found their pieces reasonably priced for the great designs. It’s a MUST for any mid-​century aficionado. I tortured myself over their coffee tables. My selection was delivered by their friendly team a few days later, upgraded to «white glove service» and fully assembled. It’s looks absolutely great. If I were to do a mid-​century pad again, this would be my first stop, love everything they have.

Modern Furnishings built our family a custom sectional and did an amazing job. Not only is the product superb, Mike and his team were great to work with from start to finish. I have never had a custom piece completed so quickly. I highly recommend Modern Furnishings.

Thrilled about our new indoor and outdoor couches from Modern Studio! We were impressed by the knowledgeable design service, 3 week turn-​around of these custom couch orders and their impeccable on-​time white glove delivery!

I must admit that I was somewhat skeptical at first. But these guys did me right. I had a problem with a purchase and they stood 100% behind me, even more than one year after the purchase. I live in San Diego and they made two trips to Sand Diego to do what needed to be done. Modern Studio has my respect, I would comfortably buy again. I don’t write many reviews but these guys deserve my time!

Over priced, ugly and uncomfortable furniture is the nicest way I could describe it.

We were looking for a sectional for our new home and fell in love with a pricey big name competitors sectional but it 1) wasn’t big enough, 2) cost way too much and 3) would be ready in 4 months. We brought John and his team a picture and they said they could duplicate the sectional to our desired measurements. John and his team came to our house to measure, recommend a size for our space and brought leather samples to choose from. The pricing was very reasonable compared to the big name company’s and the time frame a lot shorter. The only con was that it took a couple weeks longer than planned (this is very forgivable due to the metal framing needed for our sectional). End result is an amazing SEXY sectional with high quality leather (like my handbags!!!). John and his team are great to do business with. They will custom make anything you want, any style, even «rustic-​modern.» We will definitely be back for more!

We just moved into a new place and we were looking for an entertainment center to maximize the space in our slightly small living room. A friend recommended Modern Studio and we couldn’t be happier. John came out to our house, took all the measurements, designed a beautiful floating entertainment center on the spot and within 2 weeks we had a complete install including having his own audio/​video guy install all the electrical, TV and speakers. We even got a custom remote that works through the doors. Great job you guys! We will be sending as much business as we can your way.

I’ve been looking for a modern white desk made by Pangea furniture for months but they’re always sold out and hard to find in the LA area. I only found a few stores that actually had it on the floor but they were overpriced. Finally, I came across Modern Studio Furnishings and after speaking with Mike on the phone he assured me of a good deal. The service was great and I couldn’t be happier. They carry beautiful modern furniture in their store and also can custom make anything to fit the size desired. I’ll be looking to add more pieces from their collection. 5 stars!

Mike and John are awesome people. Mike was great with the recommendations and is super and easy to work with and will get you what you want with the style your aiming for. Delivery was prompt, professional, and outstanding. Casey is the man. I recommend them! Will definitely be buying from them again.

These guys are committed to providing fantastic furniture for a great price. What also makes them great to work with is that they truly understand design. Very talented and a great value. Oh, and forget about waiting six weeks to get your order, they can turn most stuff in days.
