These people continue to call even though we ask them to stop and that we are not interested. After we tell the new person that called we aren’t interested, they comment back with remarks like «Fine, it’s your business». Don’t do business with these people. It’s probably a scam. I got a call last week from someone offering a good deal on a website for my business and front page listing on Google. I told him that my phone number was in the Do Not Call Registry, I wasn’t interested and they had no business calling me unless they were a a customer seeking my services. The caller then became argumentative, resorting to high pressure sales tactics, at which point I hung up on him. I looked up the number he called from (949−268−0013) and it’s the number to this business, not Google. The caller was very misleading, acting as if he worked for Google and not this company. I did a little more research and learned that Google does not cold call people and only places calls to businesses they already have a relationship with. They also don’t call businesses to update their front page listings, nor do they charge for inclusion in Google Search. I have since filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry
