iCracked Professional iPhone, iPod and iPad Repair

Unfortunately, I had to endure this company and its contracted employees. At first, I was excited to have someone come to me and fix my cracked phone… even if they were charging me almost 100% more than the actual Apple Store ($ 109 for Apple and $ 200 for icracked) because my time was valuable. Well… he came to my house and started the work around 430pm, realized he had brought a faulty screen about 15min into it, and said he had to go back to his house to grab another one. He left my phone in pieces on the table as he said «at max 45min» he would be back and the phone would be fixed. I agreed and said I could still enjoy a family dinner right after he had fixed my phone. 530pm.6pm…7…8… By this time I was trying to call and text his cell with my husbands phone and he never answered. I tried to reach some sort of «supervisor» or «manager» but it’s impossible. **which should freak you out because there isn’t ANYBODY to complain to or answer for these random independent contractors**. After we had to cancel our reservations with the family and missed out on a wonderful family evening, I heard a knock on the door… it was well after 8pm… and standing outside, in what looked like his PAJAMAS, was our tech. Who in the end said (in summary) «sorry I can’t fix your phone because I ran out of screens. I tried calling you back but I just remembered I left your phone in pieces.» awesome.
To this day I haven’t heard from ANYBODY in management regarding this horrible evening. I thankfully did not plan on paying him until the repairs were finished, so Money had yet to exchange hands.
So folks, obviously… Id think twice before ever using such a shady company. Make an appointment with Apple… it’s cheaper, reliable, they don’t come to work in their pajamas, and you won’t miss family dinner.
