*****CLOSED***** Went there on June 3, 2015 to look at some furniture and was surprised to see them gone. Sign was gone, space was for lease. Sad to see them go. They had some great furniture.

Love my couch I bought last year. Chose the discounted fabric for my sofa (which there are tons), and it’s really well-​put together, especially since it was a rush order. I bought from Michael who was very helpful and accomodating to get our sofa made in time.

I just bought an all 100% leather living room set from Dan and its beyond expectations. How could you go wrong? Super friendly, quality pieces, and unique. Awesome, and I am bringing some friends back for our next trip as they were so impressed with our purchase,

I’m very surprised by the low reviews. We got all of our furniture here for our place at Skyline Essex (modern high rise). Prices are unbeatable and quality is great. I believe Michael is the salesperson that helped us and he was really really really helpful and nice. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

Friendly customer service here. Not too pushy, and they are willing to negotiate.
It’s a good place to find contemporary style furnishings. Make sure to check the actual quality of the furniture is all. Some is not the highest quality. But plenty of nice items that are negotiable. Stop by and give them a look sometime.

We bought our set of dining table and chairs from Dan Nguyen. Awesome customer service. They are very accommodating! Delivery was early and the two gentleman were very careful to protect our floor, and cleaned up afterwards. I purchased a tv stand from them in 2011 and I will be shopping with them again. Dan was honest, helpful and worked with us to get the exact table we wanted. Their selection is great and their price is very good as well.

We needed office furniture and these guys are AWESOME! Great deals and really nice guys. We recommend 100%. Good selection and great deals.

About two years ago we bought a couch from Metropolix. We paid about $ 2400.
At the time they assured as this was a durable fabric and couch. They also said that if there were any problems with it, they would fix it. All lies.
I tried to contact them several times, they are no good at getting back to me.
I sent them pictures of the damage and they said that since it is normal wear and tear, they can not fix it. It’s only been two years.
Last time I buy something from these scheme artists.

I’ve bought a few things from Metropolix over the years (bedroom set and curio cabinet) and this past weekend a new sofa for the office. I like their contemporary modern style and the quality is very good. Their prices are very reasonable — I’ve seen many of their things at more expensive stores marked up much, much higher. I arranged for free delivery of my sofa and they were on time and got it upstairs within just a few minutes. Will continue shopping here!

I’m an interior designer and I purchased my sofa here from Michael. He was so helpful and so accommodating with my measurements. He did everything possible to make this work out for me. I did a lot of research on sofas before I came to Metropolix. Pricing, comfort, sizing and customer service was hands down the best here. I loved the service so much that I purchase another sofa here for my client. Customer service is everything to me… I was so impressed with Michael’s service. I am now a devoted customer.

My boyfriend and I have done some shopping here the past six months or so. The first purchase for the new place was the dinning room table, chairs and a couple of bar stools that we made right when we bought the place. The purchasing of the products was painless and Billy (the associate) was very friendly and helpful. The furniture was delivered in the time frame they said it’d be delivered and so far, it has worn very well considering we use them daily, we’ve had it close to six months and has even endured a new kitten that is in our lives.
Today we purchased some more furniture from Metropolix to complete our downstairs. This time we got a TV stand, a couple of floor lamps, a mirror and a couple of ottomans. Billy helped us again and he was very helpful this time around as well. Our TV stand, mirror and floor lamps should be here within a week and the ottomans will be here in about 4 – 6 weeks tops. For what we got, the price was about $ 1000, which includes shipping and delivery. For what we got and the quality, I believe Metropolix also has great prices. We’ll see if our furniture is delivered when promised and if our new items hold up as well as our dinning room table, chairs and bar stools have.
Overall, I’d recommend Metropolix to anyone that is looking for new furniture and likes the more modern look (like we do!).

My experience at Metropolix was fabulous! I was greeted by a super friendly salesperson named Michael. He was not pushy at all when I told him I was just looking, he said no problem and left me alone. But once I made my way around the whole store, Michael checked in with me and I told him exactly what I was looking for and low and behold he took me to exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for an L sectional with deep seats. It was the perfect color and style. I ended up buying a bed and a dresser as well. Michael gave me a huge discount and free shipping. Michael gave the best customer service ever!
Their delivery window in only one hour and they came 1 hour early! how great is that! No sitting around all day for delivery! The delivery men were friendly and fast.
Quick note: if you plan on purchasing at the store, bring a check book so you can leave a $ 100 check deposit to hold or $ 300 to execute order. They do Cash on Delivery.
I just recently called Michael again to see if he could help me find a white dining table and matching sideboard as well. (These are very hard to find for resonable prices). He said he would do some research and call me back. Great customer service!

I wanted to be fair and offer an amendment after the honeymoon phase wears off, but damn the torpedoes!
All corporate buzzwords aside, at the end of the day, it comes down to laying your money down and taking a risk. You can only hope that you get what you paid for — what you expected.
Unilocal! Has been mostly helpful, but you don’t know who’s posting these reviews. Take them with a grain of salt and (especially with restaurants) don’t be afraid to take a risk with an unrated dive.
Having said all of that, this furniture is rock solid and well built. It is as it was in the showroom. This is what I paid for, so I’m satisfied.

Mike said the guys would arrive between 10:30AM and 11:30AM PST — well, lo and behold, they arrived at 10:35AM PST. They were courteous (even took off their shoes) and respectful. They assembled the furniture’s legs and placed it where we asked. What more can you ask for?

I feel compelled to come to Bruce’s defense. I went into Metropolix a week ago for the first time and was greeted by Bruce. Ok… yes. he is a bit brash. And ok… yes…he is loud and talkative and can be a wee bit annoying… but I liked him. Bruce welcomed us, gave us a little bit of info, and then let us look around without hounding us like I have had other sales people do at other furniture stores. Bruce does have a very loud voice, but was very prompt and knowledgeable with all of the questions I had.
I did end up buying a sofa. Bruce really helped with the fabrics (again…a bit loud and definitely had his opinion… but still let us look in peace without hounding us).
Unfortunately, I got a call three days later from Bruce saying that the fabric I ordered had been discontinued. He was extremely apologetic. I went back in this weekend, walked in the store, and Bruce knew me without having to say who I was. When we found another fabric we liked, Bruce even ran it across the manufacturer’s website to ensure it was not discontinued this time. And, he has expedited the sofa without even asking, so my original estimated delivery date is still the same.
Not sure about the quality of the product quite yet as I have not yet received my sofa, but I do know that Bruce was helpful and should not be so harshly judged. That’s not to say I did not need an aspirin after working with him for over an hour… but it was well worth the two Advil.

I recently purchased a few pieces from MICHAEL. He gave me discounted pricing because 1) I asked, and 2) I was buying a few things. I wasn’t sure the color would match so he let me buy one chair and take it home with me. He guaranteed me he would let me return it if it didn’t work with my décor. It didn’t, so they were fine with me returning it. He was careful to note the details of our agreements in writing on the sales contract.
They had nice pieces at good prices. I found the same coffee table down the street for $ 20 more, but decided to do business with these guys because they were friendly and helpful, but not pushy at all.
Pleasant experience and I will go back!

Bought a couch from this store. noticed 3 months later it started to rip at the seams of the leather/​vinyl mix fabric were ripping from the fabric being cut too small at time of sewing. I sent an email and was told a claim would be made. it has taken 2 months since I have heard anything. I called today and spoke with the person who took the claim since they never emailed me back with an answer. I spoke with the store manager. I told him I was not happy with the couch and I was not happy with how long it was taking to get the couch fixed and if I could just return the couch. this guy was so rude, said that maybe it was me that ruined the couch, i told him we don’t even sit on it. I told him after several minutes of arguing that I would just contact the BBB he said then he will just cancel my claim to get the couch fixed then hung up on me when I asked to talk to the owner. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. I would just go straight to the mfg and ask for another supplier.

I haven’t bought from here, yet. My husband and I went into several furniture stores in furniture row today. It has the best choices, prices and service. The guy on the floor asked if we needed help, would come check on us but then back off. I have a feeling we’ll be back.

This is another of those über chic, contemporary furniture stores with funky designs which aren’t comfortable to say the least. Colors are bright and lots of glass around. The name says it all. Prices are also very urban meaning they’re high and not what I would feel like parting with for what it is that’s on the showroom floor.
Located at Furniture Row off Lake Forest exit on I-​5, there are so many furniture stores to compete with and most of them offering pretty reasonable prices one wonders how this place stays in business.
