I took my 81 year old mother to see Dr. Bixby today. She was truly a breathe of fresh air. As a Dr myself, I am very picky about my mothers medical doctors. I had many questions and concerns regarding my mother’s diagnosis of dementia made in 2010. First let me say that she is as sweet and compassionate as others have said. Most importantly, she is an expert in Dementia. She treated my mother with the utmost respect and compassion. I left her office feeling 100% certain that I found the right neurologist for my mother.

Dr. Bixby is a compassionate and wise doctor. She not only takes care of the patient but is so sensitive to the care taker as well. Both my daughter and I came away feeling cared for physically and emotionally.

I have to say I wound up feeling a little shell shocked in Dr. Bixby’s office, but in a good way. The level of communication and caring was so far beyond anything I’ve experienced, and I mean EVER, that I was partly feeling as though someone was pranking me! She really is exceptional in the amount of time she spends with you, the explanation of potential issues and possible solutions, and in her warmth and caring.

Dr. Bixby is stellar. We have been through several neurologists, most of which have been disasters. Dr. Bixby is compassionate, well-​informed, a great diagnostician and really takes the time to pay attention and has been as helpful as can be imagined. I would now not trust my father to anyone else. Does not get any better. She is a blessing to the field of medicine!

I was with dr Bixby at Parkinson’s and movement disorders. When I was told she was leaving the practice I was beyond sad. I found her on linked in & contacted her to find out where she was going. Turns out she moved to the office next door. I wouldn’t have gone to such stalker like lengths for any other dr. She is so great. She’s understanding, patient, thorough, well educated & up to date with medicine. Im a nurse & she’s the best dr I’ve ever had myself or worked with.

Dr. Bixby is a wonderful doctor. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and we are so lucky that she chose this profession. If there is a need for help with a neurological issue, I recommend Dr. Bixby beyond compare.
