Under new ownership and the new owners are GREAT! Complete 180 from previous. They offer a custom wine and beer selection and take the time to know not just their customer’s names but also their preferences. The staff are all friendly and are great with knowing what is in stock and offering in-​depth suggestions to their vast variety of offerings.
This isn’t your typical liquor store. It’s an experience, a friendly chat and helpful education of wines and brews. They also have the typical offering of a liquor store, reasonably priced snacks and non-​alcoholic beverages.
I am a customer and not related. Also, I rarely write reviews on Unilocal but had to write this one since every visit here after the new ownership has been very nice.

Been a customer here for at least 1 year! Always have supported them and bought scratchers. Very sad to find out that they will not even cash scratchers that they sold. Total amount $ 100.00. Now I would completely understand if it was a much higher amount, but $ 100.00 is not much at all, especially towards the evening time when a full day of business has come through. I was informed that I could cash them, only if I would use the money to buy more. Will never return here. Letter sent to lotto commission. Business going down hill from where it use to be.

I live in the neighborhood, but my experience varied from all other reviews. Just went in to cash out my scratcher lottery tickets moments ago. When the older women saw the scratcher, she reluctantly said «I can’t do these…» I thought why not? I just said, «ok, if you don’t know how to cash them out, I’ll just take them elsewhere to cash or come back later.» She then said, «well, I don’t know where the bar codes are at. It’s YOU who don’t know how to do these!»
First, I bought these tickets at your facility. You are the vendor. I am the customer. You sold them to me. If you should know how to «do» these by default and I can wait. Second, I thought mom and pop shops were supposed to be friendly and helpful? How else are you expecting to survive amongst all the convenient chains? Lastly, please know your product and do your job. Will try to avoid this place now.

Not quite a destination, but if you live in the neighborhood or drive by going home, this is a must visit store. Good prices. Nice people.
Pro Tip: Offer to use exact change and watch the owner swoon.

Not just your normal liquor store! Great craft beer selection and it’s COLD! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, definitely a family business. They carry all my favorites, and if they don’t, they will order it!!! They make it hard to want to stop anywhere else. Love making them my go to place, I recommend Pop’s to everyone!
