There is nothing that makes me more mad then ordering food To go and coming home with the wrong thing. Who forgets to put lettuce on a sandwhich and then adds avocado when you don’t request it — and that’s an up charge? The receipt stapled to the bag had my correct order but apparently the cooks don’t look at the ticket and build your sandwhich however the feel like it. The cash register girls were just chatting away about their weekend letting bags of to go orders pile up, which was annoying too.

The California Delight sand which is my favorite, and it’s what I keep coming back for! It’s a combination of turkey, sprouts, cream cheese, sunflower seeds, tomato and other deliciousness. A lot of people don’t know about how delicious their chocolate chip cookies are(you should try them). Their special sauce is outstanding on any sand which! I haven’t had a chance to try their beers on tap, but I’ve heard that they don’t disappoint. Everything is fairly priced, service is fast and they have a good selection of drinks and chips.

3.5. Best thing about the pastrami sandwich was the bread. There was a good amount of meat and filling however the pastrami used seemed like nothing better than what you would get at a standard super market deli. I used the secret sauce to dip(thousand islandish), but this sandwich needed something spicy. Good price at $ 9 out the door.

We love it here!!! The food is always amazing and the only trouble we ever have is deciding what to order! I also want to hand it to the management, the service here is excellent. We are always greeted with a smile and service is prompt and accurate. Chloe and Juan are always so friendly! Whether we stay in to eat and enjoy a delicious local brew or take it togo, we are never disappointed!

I came here for the first time recently with a friend. One thing I think is really good about this place is the portion size of the sandwiches. The sandwiches are quite big. However, the taste didn’t wasn’t anything special. I do plan trying some more items. Also, I think they have $ 1 drinks during happy hour or something. I haven’t gone, but my friend seemed pretty interested in it. He also mentioned that they have a good selection of beers and other drinks.

I love love LOVE B&B! This was my first time at the Laguna Niguel location and I’ve come to the decision that I like this location more than the SC one. Staff seems to be a bit friendlier and there’s a nice patio seating area. It also seemed a lot less busy than the San Clemente one but I’m sure that fluctuates based on the time of day. Big fan of this place!

Love their pastrami! The sauce with it is delicious! A must try! We found our favorite spot to eat everytime we go to Walmart next door.

Excellent sandwiches and excellent beer, plus a nice little bar where you can eat and drink and watch the game. Make sure to get their secret sauce, no matter what you order. For a neighborhood sandwich shop, I could not ask for more.

Turkado with the sauce on the side! It is a really huge sandwich which I could not eat in one sitting. Its a great alternative to other sandwich shops in this area. Lots of seating inside and outside on the patio. They serve beer which is always a plus!

Co –owner was at the front desk, Joe, was not only personable, but extremely helpful and let us try the whole beer selection before ordering. He gave execelent suggestions on sandwich options that led me to having to get the best veggie wrap I’ve ever had the privlage to eat. They have awesome food, good beers and amazing service. I’d go everyday if I could! Thanks again, Joe!

Recently found Board and Brew and now hooked. The turkado was decent, but their hot sandwiches seem to pack more punch. I’ve had the roast beef spicy, beef dip, and baja chicken sandwiches all a good deal for around $ 8 and each with unique flavors. The Cobb Salad(add avo) is the sleeper pick and a healthier alternative if you’re not doing carbs. Sounds boring, but they pack it with loads of flavorful ingredients all for under $ 10. This location has a nice patio area outside, some bar seating inside, or small tables with TVs. The ambiance they created is pretty cool for the small space they had to work with. Board and Brew is definitely worth a try.

Been seeing these sandwich shops pop up everywhere and decided to give them a try. We came to this particular location around lunch time. There wasn’t too much of a line, but it was difficult to find seating. There are tables Inside and out. The staff was friendly. We tried the Turkey Deluxe(turkey, cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, sweet & sour dressing, mayo, lettuce, and tomatoes on a french baguette). It was just OK. The bread was pretty thick and dry. The bread to filling ratio was not balanced and felt like we were eating more bread than filling. The sandwich itself was nothing great. Adding their secret sauce did make the sandwich taste better. But, the secret sauce is not awesome enough to make us feel like we NEED to go back for more. Plus, shouldn’t the sandwich already be great without the secret sauce? We MIGHT try this place out again, ordering a different sandwich, and maybe a different location. But, only if there’s one nearby and nothing else we want to eat.

I’ve been to numerous B&Bs from Carlsbad and up. This location opening a mile from home made me so happy. I get the chicken club, the pastrami, toms choice, pretty much anything on the menu. All of it is killer. Staff is friendly and cold cold beers on tap always hit the spot. I could eat here daily. And I’ve even snuck sandwiches into the movies and been busted. Sandwich was so good though that as soon as the manager who hassled me wasn’t looking, I shoved my head into my backpack and finished it off. Would rather miss the movie and look like a weirdo than miss finishing my sando. One tiny thing and thus a star knock off. I won’t be eating anything with celery in it, which sadly probably means no delicious potato salad. So, one of the guys was on his cell phone while prepping veg. A stalk fell off the counter onto the floor. Without missing a beat, he reached down, picked it up and put it back onto the counter. We told the gal who was working the counter who then told the guy. He was not happy. Said that he was going to wash it. Stomped off to a closed area of the kitchen with the celery and reappeared less than ten seconds later staring us down.(Luckily we had our sandwiches by then) Celery looked wet, so he probably rinsed it. All good, right? Despite the hiccup we will be back as often as our budget allows.

This place was 5-stars when they first opened. But recently, they’ve been more like a 2 or a 3. I’ve always ordered a Turkado on Squaw bread. Since we originally started coming here, they have reduced the turkey and avocado ingredients by at least ½. It still tastes great, and the ingredients are top quality, but they just don’t give you nearly as much as they used to. I can’t help but feel like I’ve been subjected to the old bait-and-switch. I try not to leave negative-toned reviews based on an isolated incident, but this has happened back-to-back on my last two visits, and to a lesser degree on the visits prior to that. I know the owner reads these reviews, so I hope that they bring back the generous portions that made me a fan in the first place. If I want tiny meat portions, I might as well just go to Subway. I love this place, and so do my family and friends. Please bring back the sandwiches with a good portion of meat/protein. See my pictures. I will upload a picture of my sandwich tonight(lacking meat and loaded with lettuce). I am also re-posting a picture taken from Unilocal of an example of the Turkado that I remember when I first starting coming here. You should notice that there is a HUGE discrepancy in the meat and avocado portions between these same«Turkado» sandwiches.

Just found this place two days ago. Loved it and went back today. I get the vegi supreme which is only $ 5.95. One of the cheapest items on the menu aside front the soup. The other sandwiches range from $ 6-$ 8. Not bad considering how much food the pile between two pieces of bread.

Great service, delicious food as always– obsessed with the sauce. The prices are reasonable. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. A great sandwich for a summer day-or any day!

Board & Brew is a great place for a sandwich and a beer. I prefer the Rancho Santa Margarita location because they have a great bar/patio space, but this one is still nice. The bar and the inside seating is pretty small. The patio is also fairly small has a strip-mall view, but some outdoor seating is better than none! My favorite sandwich is the California delight on sourdough. My husband like the roast beef spicy. The food tastes fresh and the special sauce they give you on the side is yummy. The vibe is very casual and the beer selection is pretty good. Overall, a great place for a quick and chill lunch!

Next to z pizza and nektar, its in a busy shopping center, and ive never come here not given this place the time of day. Until a friend reccomended to come here for lunch. I am so disappointed that now I am enjoying this place after all this time! The place is great, the menu is simple but varies with lots of options. The sandwiches are huge, fresh and delicious. The beer menu is pretty decent as well. Its a bit more expensive, which is Ok. But I docked a star because my sandwich was just as expensive as my beer. lame. :( other than that, ill definitely come back. :)
