Stefanie – The Art of Hair Grand Salon

Stefanie is the best! Finally, somebody who can take care of my hair and is not afraid to do the cut! I have thick hair and she layered them perfectly. Love it!

I’ve never been so insulted. I sat down with Stefanie for a trim. She asks me when the last time I had a haircut was. I told her 4 months (afterwords I realized it’s actually been 6). In awe, she then asked me what kind of shampoo I used. I told her I wasn’t sure, but it was an all-​natural shampoo. At this point I actually thought she was complementing me. Then she goes on to say, «well then maybe you should start using something that is NOT natural. Your hair is so so SO dry and brittle. The ends are just going to break off.» She made a few other comments in disbelief of my apparently hideous appearance and lack of maintenance, then showed me the minimum would have to take off (which looked to be about 2 – 3 inches). At that point I got up and left after explaining that I’ve never been so insulted. She seemed shocked and dumbfounded, but no trace of apologetic.
I can’t speak for this woman’s talent, but I can say that she has that OC attitude I can’t wait to leave behind. I don’t care if I came in looking like the girl off of The Ring, you don’t treat your customers like that — especially not right out of the gate.

I found Stefanie on Unilocal and I am so glad that I did. Yesterday I went in for haircut and cut with my newly bought 22″ clip in hair extension. Stefanie took care of me. She cut my hair with extension first and then did my real hair cut which turn out great. I waited til today to write the review because I want to see how it looks after I wash my hair and style on my own. Again, I am impressed with my new layers and overall look. Thanks, Stefanie, I’ll come back soon.

As I walked in, I was greeted by a pleasant hello from the girl in the front. She quickly went and informed Stefanie that I had arrived. I was a bit early but by the time it was my time, Stefanie was ready for me. She took her time to go over my issues and what I want. It felt good that she actually knew what I wanted and was confident about it.
Everything, from the hair wash to the blow drying was great! Pleasant conversation and she gave me a great cut! Left the salon loving my hair and looking forward to coming back on regular basis. Would only recommend her to people I love! She’s seriously good!!!

Seriously i can’t say enough great things about Stefanie! I’ve been coming to her for years and she’s always done exactly what I want! She’s listens and it feels like I’m visiting an old friend! Her blowouts are beyond amazing! I recommend her to everyone I know!

I’ve been coloring my hair for 11 years with the same lady but I just moved out here from the east coast and my roots were getting pretty bad. I’m quite picky and cautious when it comes to hair color hence why I’ve been doing it with the same person for so long. I saw Stefanie’s work through a friend who posted a pic on IG and then I checked her out on Unilocal and saw more of her amazing work. I was very pleased with the outcome. I wish I had taken a before picture so you could see the difference in my hair. I was a bit too blond than I would’ve liked to be when I went into the salon so I explained to Stefanie that I wanted to be more of a natural looking dirty blond and she definitely saw my vision. She put highlights and lowlights which I’ve never done but turned out fabulous! I will definitely be going back to her :)

I always walk away feeling so good after getting my hair done by Stefanie Massey at the art of hair in Laguna Niguel… Hands down the best hair cuts/​styles. She always knows how to make my hair frame my face just right.

Just got home from getting my hair did! Stefanie is amazing!!! Cut and color are always perfect :) love having her as my hairdresser!!! When I want to experiment with new styles and colors she nails it every time!!!

Been going to Stefanie for as long as I can remember. She’s the best. Makes my 40 year old face look much younger! My friends that are stylist comment on how good «my girl» is when they search my roots… and they do! Just the best!!!

I’ve been going to Stefanie for many years now and have never had a bad experience. People always rave about how great my hair looks when I leave her chair. She is a joy to be around and does hair as good as anyone. No one and I mean no one will finish your hair off with a better blow dry then Stefanie.

Where to start… I’ve bounced from stylist to stylist looking for THE one that knows their stuff, and I’m happy to say I found her! Stefanie is GREAT! I’ve received compliments on color, highlights, cut and style from random people. She’s that good and fun to talk to! Go see her and you won’t be disappointed!
