Veneziano Christopher, MD

I saw Dr. Veneziano when I was having lots of pain in my left knee. I had surgery on this knee 14 years earlier. Dr. Veneziano doubted that I had had surgery on this knee; he thought it was arthritis. My earlier surgery involved my ACL and meniscus tears. I did not appreciate his attitude toward women. In the months that I saw him my left knee continued to deteriorate. Thankfully, I saw another surgeon who found 9 things wrong with my left knee including scar tissue from my past surgery. Do not trust Dr. Veneziano’s judgements. Get a second opinion. My knee was bone on bone by the time I had my second left knee surgery. Now I can ski, dance, play volleyball and tennis. Trust your gut feeling. Dr. Veneziano is overly confident for no reason.

Dr. Veneziano misdiagnosed my shoulder injury. The rehab he recommended caused me more pain. I called him several times to discuss this, but he never returned my calls. I ended up going to another surgeon who did the proper surgery. Stay away from this unresponsive, uncaring doctor.

I went to doctor Veneziano to treat my swollen knee. He checked the swelling and sent me for X-​rays. After checking the X-​rays he spent time reviewing the results with me and explaining what options were available. I highly recommend Dr. Veneziano

I choose Dr Veneziano because his specialty is sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. After he did my knee arthroscopic surgery I had prolonged pain and was unable to get answers. South Coast Orthopedics had a nice office and good staff but I would not recommend Dr V because of his total lack of communication. He just kept recommending more treatments without explaining the processes or reasons. In the meantime I have seen another Doctor and am getting better results.
