Typical froyo establishment. I do like that it’s self serve with unique rotating flavors. A good topping assortment as well.

Just ate there. Their service is great, always really friendly. Had the coconut flavor, added strawberries, pineapple and almonds. I’ve learned not to put too much yogurt in the cup or I’ll eat it all and be unhappy. This time I put the perfect amount it. A great treat after seeing a movie(The Campaign). I didn’ t like their vanilla flavor as much as Pinkberry(yes I’m a Pinkberry guy), or Yogurtland. But the vibe here is pretty kickback with a couch and comfortable seating, as well as a cool surfboard table. It’s located right in the heart of Lahaina, near Starbucks and Jamba Juice — perfect for a late afternoon or evening treat.

A solid place to get frozen yogurt, the flavors change a bit allowing you to try new things, but the toppings are usually blah. Would be nice if they put more effort in that department. Service is usually friendly.

After stuffing myself with food and trying to walk it off while shopping I wanted a treat to cure my sweet tooth. Sure gelato is found every block or two which is loaded with calories and fat I came here instead. I’m on vacation but no need to be a pig about it. They had 6 – 7 options froyo options and some toppings and syrups to «sweeten» the deal. The female employee greeted us with a smile and offered sample cups. I tried the vanilla, Kauai pie, strawberry, pineapple coconut and coffee. All were very good. Some were rich and sweet while other flavors were light and refreshing. The topping bar was a little lacking compared to other froyo places. Island Froyo had the basic candies, nuts, some fruit and syrups. There is a couch and table seating. Prices are good. I walked out with a treat for less than $ 3.00.

Not enough choices the praline is not good. The customer service is extremely rude. The girl working there left the store for almost 10 minutes so we could have easily walked out with our frozen yogurt. Anyways she would not let my mom who arrived a little after use the rest of my Unilocal deal and we sat there so she knew who we were.

One of the best froyo spots I’ve been to. The server was friendly and there is a comfortable area to sit with books for kids and adults. Hawaiian gospel music was playing which was creative. The froyo was near perfect, tangy and sweet but not overly sugary. The taro was great.

The fro-yo is good and one of the few places you can actually get it on the island. However the service was horrible. I bought the Unilocal deal of $ 10 for $ 5 and the guy at the counter would not honor it. It was crazy and he even argued with me. I had to contact Unilocal to get a return and made sure I did not go back during the rest of the vacation.

The standard for frozen yogurt establishments have been made, whether you prefer something more up-market like Pinkberry or the self-serve varieties that are increasingly in abundance. This venue is the latter, but it unfortunately misses the mark. The yogurt should be incredibly cold and varied in flavors, but this place just does the absolute minimum. The toppings should be fresh, or at least not clearly stale, as they were in this case. Finally, the cashier should sport a smile and not confuse you when checking out, which was the proverbial icing on this place. There are tons of shaved ice, gelato, yogurt and cold treat places around the area. I will not return to this one.

Amazing local fruit – maui gold pineapple, delicious apple bananas, kiwis etc! Island froyo is way better than yogurtland in whaler’s village! The guy working at island froyo was also very kind in allowing us to use the $ 10 for $ 5 voucher even though he hadn’t seen it before! Their berry sorbet is also very good! Best froyo I’ve been to!

GREAT flavors, fresh toppings and a locally owned business. Support this local Maui establishment and you’ll be the one that benefits. It’s amazing.

Interesting flavors, fresh toppings, and incredibly friendly staff. That’s really all I can ask for from a frozen yogurt shop!

Not bad. Their coconut was my absolute favorite. Taro was also pretty tasty too. Selection of toppings were decent. Overall, this place will satisfy your snack attack.

Great locally-owned place. I’d say there were mainly sweet flavors with fewer tart. The peanut butter was especially good, but the coconut was deemed too sweet(to be fair, it was actually«sweet coconut.»). Vanilla and chocolate were quite good, and we didn’t try cookies & cream or taro. The toppings were not extensive but were definitely sufficient. The most unique to me were mango bubbles, which to be frank looked like big fish eggs, but rolled around in the mouth delightfully before bursting with mango essence. They also had hot fudge, which for reasons unbeknownst to me, is quite rare in self-serve frozen yogurt places. The workers were very friendly and there’s nice seating areas both inside and outdoors. The only negative was that it didn’t seem too clear to me how to order belgian waffles(or the tantalizing mini-waffles), but I’m sure if I had asked someone this would have been cleared up. And you had to ask someone for each little sample, although they were very friendly about giving them out and I don’t blame them for wanting people not to go overboard.

Gotta get some mango bubbles and lychee bubbles on the mainland. Definitely some different flavors than at home like taro and honey dew. Great place to hang out and listen to live music while enjoying your custom crafted yogurt desert.

The taro froyo is AMAZING! Tasty and creamy. Also, great service — the counter didn’t have any ground almond(my fav), and the owner grounded some up for me immediately! Décor/ambience is really relaxing. Space is very comfortable to hang out in for a little while — comparable to Starbucks in how nice it is to hang around in.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Did I mention they had cake batter flavour? The toppings were delicious including these little bursting lychee balls. Very clean and great location with free available parking! Can’t wait to go back

Great to find a competition to Yogurtland in this part of Maui. Located across the parking lot from Foodland, this froyo shop seems to have recently opened. It’s all self-serve, offering about a dozen flavors of froyo and a decent selection of toppings… just like Yogurtland, except the service here is better. We’re going back again tomorrow!

Yumm, Yummmmm, Yummmmm This place is great, I have been home less than 24 hours and wish I could get some. They have a great(always changing) selection of frozen non-fat yogurt. They also have a sugar free yogurt and non dairy sorbet for those might need another option. We found Island Froyo our first full day on Maui, after a long morning my boys were waiting for me to finish in Hilo Hattie. I came out to find them all eating different flavors. I tasted and then went in to get my own cup. The staff were quick to offer samples of any flavor I might be interested in… it is self serve and you are charged by the ounce. You can mix and have whatever your in the mood for. They have toppings, sauces and waffles. The store is very friendly and family owned. We went back every day of our vacation(sometimes twice) as frozen treats are always a huge part of our vacations. We met the entire family and they were all just so friendly and easy going, asking about our days. I recommend this to anyone in the area and wanting a yummy treat on a warm hawaiian day. Our family can’t wait to go back to Maui and get some more froyo :)
